It is the benefit of abiding in oneself. Although the yogi knows that all is empty, he makes all bodies conform. The hero is fearless in the three realms, and here he becomes the Buddha of the nature of enlightenment. Now, desiring to show the benefits of entering into correct concentration, it is said: 'Youth, the benefits of entering into correct concentration are these ten,' and so on. The one whose mind is without turbidity is the one whose mind is not stained by the mud of afflictions. Abiding in mindfulness is to abandon the place of carelessness because of always abiding in equanimity. Remembering the Buddha is to manifestly remember the realm of the Buddha in entering into correct concentration. Having faith in the Dharma is to have faith that those who have the qualities of scripture and realization are all without deception. Having no hesitation about wisdom is to have no doubt about whether or not the omniscient wisdom exists, or whether or not it can be attained. Repaying the kindness of the Buddha is to know that these qualities arise from the power of hearing, thinking, and meditating on the Dharma taught by the Thus-Gone One, and therefore to always look upon the Thus-Gone One, make prostrations, make offerings, and so on. Not abandoning the Dharma is to see the Buddha when hearing the Dharma taught. Therefore, one should not abandon the Dharma. Abandoning the Dharma is abandoning the Three Jewels, and abandoning them means that there is no other place to go than the lower realms. Knowing this, one does not abandon it. Abiding with extreme restraint is to not violate the vows of body, speech, and mind that have been taken. Obtaining the peaceful ground is to rely on entering into correct concentration that is in accordance with the Buddha's ground. Manifesting the four kinds of perfect knowledge is to manifest them by meditating on the samadhi as previously described. These ten are the benefits of a Bodhisattva diligently applying himself to entering into correct concentration. The meaning of the verses is as before. The individual self-awareness of the son of the Sugata, the meditation praised by all the Buddhas, is constantly absorbed in that, therefore, here, it is called entering into correct concentration. Abiding in a solitary place

In order to explain the benefits, it is said, "These ten young people are," and so on. Abiding in few activities is because one has abandoned many household affairs. Abandoning bustle for a long time means abandoning the gathering of many people who engage in idle talk, considering solitude as an incompatible side. There, becoming without disputes is because there is no rival for disputes in the forest. Abiding without harm is because one does not have an unbearable mind towards anything, and one does not generate a harmful mind, nor should one generate harmful thoughts towards anything else. Or, because one is free from all diseases, one will not be harmed by diseases. Not increasing defilements means not engaging in actions and afflictions that arise from the causes of desire, hatred, and ignorance. Not creating a basis for disputes means that the so-called dispute arises from the cause of downfall, because there are no Vinaya holders or Matrika holders in that monastery, so there is none. Practicing in extreme tranquility means that the evil deeds of body, speech, and mind are pacified, so one practices in near tranquility in the monastery. Abiding in extreme restraint is because one is restrained by all the vows that belong to the category of the three vows. Transforming into a mind-stream that is in accordance with liberation is because one constantly abides with a mind that yearns for Nirvana. Manifesting liberation is because one has entered into the manifestation of liberation. The meaning of the verses is as before. Abiding in the center of the emptiness monastery, the yogi who is fully devoted to the supreme yoga, the Buddha who is free from old age and death, will attain the eternal abode. In order to explain the benefits of the virtues of vowing to alms, it is said, "Young people, these ten benefits are," and so on. Not desiring the benefit of knowledge is not being attached to the knowledge of relatives and friends. Not desiring fame is not vowing to alms for the sake of fame, nor is it for obtaining the merits of practice. Not desiring gain and respect is abandoning other people's homes and being content with alms. Abiding in the four noble lineages is possessing the practice of the four truths. Pretense
