Furthermore, even if the faults of those individuals appear immeasurable, one should not speak of them. Knowing that whatever action one engages in, one will experience the corresponding result, one should always speak frankly to elders and youths with a face like the smiling moon, thereby subduing pride. With a supremely pure mind, one should engage in embracing all sentient beings, and those who live by robes and alms should be taught to do so. If someone requests you to listen to the Dharma, you should make them happy and say, 'If you yourself are a great scholar, how can I speak in your presence?' If there are some among them who are suitable vessels, then you should speak yourself. If there are many who are immoral there, do not speak of morality there, but speak of generosity. If there are many who are abundant in morality and conduct, then speak of morality at that time. If the retinue is completely pure, then speak of generosity, morality, patience, diligence, meditation, wisdom, and all the qualities of the Buddha. If one is not satisfied with generosity and the like alone, then enlightenment should be accomplished through meditation and samadhi, so one should be taught to diligently practice samadhi. In order to perfect the accumulation of merit and wisdom, one should make offerings to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas with all the necessary offerings. Therefore, having properly generated the mind of enlightenment, making diligence the essence, one should uphold this sutra, which contains meaning and words, in order to definitely accomplish all the Buddha's teachings. The vast benefits of this should be understood as before. This is the very nature of the appearance of immeasurable Buddhas. Here, the King of Samadhi, praised by the Buddhas, I have shown only a little fame. Who like me can realize the extremely subtle? The chapter on entering into individual perfect knowledge.

The commentary on the twenty-fifth chapter, 'u', is complete. Now, intending to explain skillful means, the Blessed One spoke, beginning with "Then again, the Blessed One said." To answer the question, "Young man, how does a Bodhisattva become skilled in means?" he spoke, beginning with "Young man, this Bodhisattva," etc. Having placed a mind of closeness towards all sentient beings, having mentally examined the accumulation of merit of all sentient beings, one should rejoice with "Excellent!" three times during the day and three times during the night, praying daily: "May all sentient beings attain Buddhahood through this accumulation of merit! May I also be able to liberate all sentient beings!" A Bodhisattva who is perfectly endowed with these skillful means will attain excellent samadhi and quickly realize unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. To extensively explain these meanings in verses, he spoke, beginning with "All these sentient beings are my relatives," etc. Just as one cherishes a beloved only child, these sentient beings have become my relatives. Abandoning love for relatives, like a Shravaka, fearing Samsara and seeking only personal Nirvana, is not to be done. Focusing on them with great compassion, one should rejoice in all the accumulations of merit of all sentient beings, and one should also dedicate the accumulation of merit that depends on rejoicing to all sentient beings in the same way. Having vowed to liberate all sentient beings, one will not violate the extremely pure precepts even for the sake of body and life, and with perfect faith, one will generate great joy towards the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, and having generated the mind of Bodhicitta with the desire for enlightenment, one will diligently make offerings to the Three Jewels, and in order to take care of all sentient beings, one will completely give away wealth, grain, jewels, royal power, and so on, and because the mind-stream has been completely cultivated with wisdom, one has realized emptiness.

Now, hearing it brings great joy, and being skilled in gathering sentient beings, as well as the excellent renunciation, and the excellent full ordination, as well as solitude, and delighting in solitude, and acting without duality like a rhinoceros horn, with diligence, one will obtain four treasures, namely, the treasure of the Thus-Gone One's teachings is excellently obtained, as well as obtaining renunciation, as well as obtaining unwavering faith, as well as obtaining samadhi, this is the fourth treasure. Similarly, the treasure of hearing, as well as the treasure of boundless fearlessness, as well as the treasure of diligence in all virtuous dharmas. For those who diligently follow the Dharma and its path, with great joy, and entering vigorously to benefit beings, the joy of perfect enlightenment and sentient beings, the cause of the Thus-Gone One, I rejoice in these. The commentary on the twenty-sixth chapter, Rejoicing, is complete. Diligent conduct is the conduct of a Bodhisattva, in order to show it excellently. Therefore, young one, one should be diligent, young one, you should train in this way, and so on. Why is that? It means that, having established that one must definitely accomplish samadhi, why is diligence emphasized? Young one, for a diligent Bodhisattva, it is not difficult to obtain unsurpassable perfect enlightenment, let alone samadhi? It means that it is not extremely difficult to obtain. How is one diligent? After being asked the reason, it is answered: it is that the discipline is completely pure. Without diligence, the discipline cannot be completely pure, how is the discipline completely pure? This is asking about the order of complete purity of discipline. Not separated from the mind of all-knowing wisdom, and constantly abiding in the six perfections, this is called diligence. The enlightenment of the Buddha comes from the treasure of generosity, first the benefits of generosity are proclaimed. Young one, the benefits of a Bodhisattva's faith in generosity are ten, when asked which ten, in order to dispel doubt, the Blessed One answered: His afflictions of stinginess are cut off, his mind is constant.
