Reasoning applies to conditioned phenomena, but not to the unconditioned. In this case, thoughts of complete defilement and complete purification, as well as thorough explanations, are applicable. Thoughts such as inference, direct perception, and scripture are applicable, but not to the unconditioned. In short, in order to thoroughly prove the qualities and inconceivable faults of conditioned phenomena, the method of entering the door of debate by closely examining the words of opponents and others is fourfold. Definite instruction is a distinction of explanation, that is, the conditioned, thorough explanation, complete defilement, and purification, all four should be thoroughly explained. Sound is speech. The path of words is intentional speech. The four intentions in speaking are intention towards sentient beings, intention towards the nature of phenomena, intention towards the teachings, and intention towards the time. There are four definite recognitions of deities, namely, recognition of pure deities, recognition of uncontaminated deities, and recognition of Bodhisattva deities. Definite thought followed by recognition is definite recognition. Focusing on obtaining a human body and constantly engaging in special virtuous actions is called recognition of humans. Recognizing that all of these are merely names is called definite recognition of names. Entering what should be entered through the distinction of recognition is a distinction that is extremely transcendent from higher to higher. Vajra words abide firmly in an indestructible state, therefore they are Vajra words. By deliberating and thoroughly awakening with letters such as Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:唵) and Svaha (藏文:སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:svāhā,汉语字面意思:梭哈), the deity is made to appear, therefore it is called mantra words. Giving and so on are accumulating and accomplishing. Sins are to be abandoned, like clearing away a plague. Because it is briefly indicated, it is called Sutra Pitaka, and because it is briefly explained, it broadly shows the meaning. The limit of the Sutra Pitaka refers to the ultimate meaning of exhausting all the Sutra Pitakas. The place of the ultimate Sutra Pitaka is a place of profound and profound means, or it can also be the meaning. What is to be established is established, that is, it is definitely and distinctly established by terminology. Words that thoroughly accomplish appearance are called words of appearance. Because it makes wisdom clear, it is called clear words. Words that thoroughly accomplish the distinction of conduct

This is called the word of conduct. Conduct refers to giving and so on. That which thoroughly accomplishes it is the nature of speech. The collection of letters is a word. The collection of words is speech. Thus it is said. The words of various thoughts are difficult to understand, hence they are called inconceivable words. The words that thoroughly accomplish without beginning, end, and middle are called boundless words. No one, from anywhere, goes, comes, or travels, is called non-traveling. Completely means everywhere. That is the limit, the characteristic of permanence and cessation. That which is without those is the limit. The words that express those are called limitless words. Because there is no similar dharma, and because qualities and so on cannot be measured, it is called immeasurable words. Because it cannot be counted, there is no number, and because there is no place, therefore it is called countless words. That which cannot be completely measured by measurement, if it is measurable, then it is not the object of measurement, hence it is called immeasurable words. The object of knowledge is the word of knowledge, because there is no object, it is inconceivable, that is, because there is no realm. The accumulation of knowledge is the collection of merit and wisdom, starting from the mind of enlightenment, and truly accumulating until Buddhahood, hence it is called accumulation. The reasoning of knowledge is the place where knowledge arises, the cause of hearing, thinking, and meditating. The accumulation of the manifestation of immeasurable meanings experienced in the past is called the accumulation of eloquence. The collection and accumulation of all the sutras is called the sutra collection. Worldly and supramundane, defiled and undefiled, supramundane also, the sutras of direct meaning and the sutras of definitive meaning are collected, and the mantras that are different due to the distinctions of action, conduct, yoga, and so on, hearing is called much hearing. Morality, hearing, wisdom, samadhi, and so on, are called the four riches. There are four trainings, namely, higher morality, higher wisdom, higher mind, and all non-virtue.
