"ཕྱིར" is said to be the mind. Giving is making it one's own. Therefore, it is said that because he said nothing, he became silent. Then, Moonbeam, knowing that not speaking at all was giving consent, rose from his seat, bowed his head to the Bhagavan, and departed. He leveled all the paths from the King's City to Vulture Peak, adorning them with various flowers, incense, garments, victory banners, parasols, banners of complete victory, dances, plays, and hundreds and thousands of various musical instruments. Men and women were also thoroughly adorned. On both sides of the road, various decorations made of Jambudvipa gold, such as garlands of divine Tala trees, were arranged. In the sky, various jewel trees made of the seven precious substances, which shone like lamps, were erected. To make it easier to understand the previously indicated meanings, it was said in verses: "The road is very well adorned in various ways," and so on. Since this is an explanation of prose, it will not be explained further. In this way, having adorned the road with various jewels and so on, he went to whatever was the King's City and his own home. Entering his own home, that night he prepared many fine, abundant, and immeasurable foods, drinks, and delicacies, and also gathered divine food with a hundred flavors. The next morning, he adorned the King's City in the same way, and also adorned his own home with various decorations, and spread out hundreds of thousands of jewel cushions. In the center of these cushions, he arranged a divine lion throne that transcended gods and humans. He fumigated it with black agarwood incense, adorned it with various flowers, and decorated his own home. Wishing to express these meanings in verses, he said: "Moonbeam adorned the spacious mansion, all places were very finely adorned," and so on. This refers to adorning it to the utmost. The mansion is the chief of dwellings. Moonbeam with reverence, and so on, is the remaining part. The divine lion throne was placed in the center.

The so-called "placed in the center" means just that. The so-called "where the lamp of the world resides," etc., countless thousands of seats were laid out, and seats were also arranged for the bodhisattva sangha and the shravaka sangha. In all directions and corners, incense burners of agarwood, which spread fragrance, were also placed. Various kinds of flowers were also scattered. The so-called "with the sounds of dancing, singing, and cymbals," etc., is to abandon the attachment that one can attain the heavenly realms through the combination of artificial sounds, meaning that one should rely on meaning and not on letters. Because there is no necessary connection between meaning and sound, anyone should follow the meaning that is fully expressed through these sounds or gestures, such as hand gestures. It should be understood that one should not strive for artificial sounds that are completely conjectured by those who are ignorant and attached to sounds, that is its meaning. The supreme palace, adorned with dance, song, and the sound of percussion, even amazes the minds of gods and others, and by virtue of the victorious state that surpasses the heavenly palace, one can even see the moonlit palaces. Then, one should connect it with "Where did the Blessed One Moonlight go?" Very early in the morning, accompanied by songs and percussion, etc., surrounded by his retinue, eighty kotis, hundreds of thousands, and countless bodhisattvas, blessed by the blessings of the Tathagata, filled their hands with heavenly mandara flowers. Some of them are "those who are bound by one lifetime," the so-called "those who are bound by one lifetime" means that they will definitely attain unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment after one lifetime. The so-called "for example" is to indicate the definite number of those who were close at that time. From the noble Avalokiteshvara, the great lord, to Maitreya, these twelve bodhisattvas are those who are bound by one lifetime. They and others were surrounded by the retinue of great bodhisattvas and cleared the way in front, with many horses, cows, and carriages that were highly decorated but unoccupied.
