Because of being free from conceptualization, and because of being liberated from the cause of suffering, one is indeed liberated from suffering. "Not associated with the elements" means being separated from and not stained by the eighteen elements, such as earth. "Restraining the sources of arising" means that since objects and subjects are empty of inherent existence, the manifold appearances of clinging are gathered together, meaning that one's own nature has become ultimate. "Completely severing the knots" means that the bonds of desire, ignorance, and views are forcefully severed by experiencing suchness as it is. What is that? It means completely severing the bonds, that is, having made a distinction. "Liberated from all torments" means that afflictions such as desire are things that burn, so they are called all torments, because they burn the stream of virtue. Being liberated from these means abandoning them in various ways. "Completely liberated from craving" means that completely means entirely. Liberation means craving, which is characterized by clinging to the appearances of samsara. "Crossing over the rivers" means that there are four rivers: desire, existence, ignorance, and views. Crossing over these means attaining the other shore, nirvana. "Perfecting wisdom" means that from directly realizing omniscience, one fully understands everything, which others do not possess. "Abiding in the wisdom of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the past, future, and present" means abiding fully in the wisdom of equality with all the Tathagatas in a non-abiding manner. "Not abiding in nirvana" means not clinging to nirvana like the Shravakas and others, but perceiving samsara and nirvana as equal, therefore not clinging to either one. "Abiding at the limit of reality" means that since the Buddha and suchness do not exist as support and supported, abiding in its nature means that non-abiding is the place of abiding. "Abiding on the ground of looking upon all sentient beings" means realizing it.

Those who desire to attain the state of Buddhahood should contemplate the state of omniscience with a mind of intense attachment, up to the point called 'Manifest Desire.' 'Furthermore, these are the true qualities of the Tathagata Buddha,' is what was just said. Possessing those qualities of the Buddha, with uninterrupted courage, when praising the qualities of the truly perfect and complete Buddha, when truly proclaiming them, the meaning and words will never be exhausted, that is, they will never be complete, because the power of the Buddha's qualities is immeasurable. All of his speech will also be adorned with the qualities of the Buddha himself, because he is dedicated to accomplishing the Dharma-nature to the utmost. In order to easily understand the meanings explained in prose, they are explained in verse form, showing how to truly accomplish the benefit of all beings in the world. Therefore, it is said, 'Even if explained in detail for many thousands of kalpas, it is not enough to express all the praises of the Victorious Ones.' and so on. The Victorious One is the one who has conquered all the demons. To express all the praises of the qualities, even for many thousands of kalpas, is not possible. Thus, the qualities generated by those Tathagatas are inexpressible. In order to attain samadhi, and in order to explain the distinctions of the arising of qualities, it is said, 'A beautiful daughter, very pleasing, delightful to see.' and so on. Adorned with all ornaments, possessing all the signs, has also been mentioned before. Similarly, wealth, grain, male servants, female servants, jewels, pearls, coral, and so on were also given. Clothes should be worn. The most excellent fragrance, the fragrant one, is the summer flower itself, the jasmine. Offered, that is, given. Stupa is a stupa. The supreme mind is to generate a stainless mind and make offerings. Similarly, the giving of Dharma is done with a pure mind. After giving the gift of Dharma, the thought 'I will become famous because of this' never arose. The thought 'I should enjoy it myself' for the excellent things given was also never in my mind.
