When a result arises, does the nature of the cause arise? Or does something else arise? Or does it arise from both self and other? Or does it arise without relying on the action of the cause? Is it existent? Is it non-existent? Or is it the nature of both? Does one result arise from multiple causes? Or does it produce multiple results? Or do multiple produce multiple? Or does one produce one, and also produce multiple? Does the result arise from the destruction of the cause? Or does the result arise from the non-destruction of the cause? If such discriminations arise, then all such schools, because they cling to their own school, with the habitual discriminations, they accurately demonstrate taking the meaningless as meaningful. Even so, if the result becomes the nature of the cause, then the result is also established like the cause, therefore it is not produced, but is like the own essence of the cause. Because you yourself consider it separate from arising, the main thing that becomes the nature of the result is the cause itself. That is also because it is not produced, so it is not reasonable to be the cause itself like a donkey's horn. Like self-nature, it is not other. The cause will become non-cause. Because it is not produced, then for what? What is not a cause, what will become a cause? This is what is said. Others should also be spoken in dependence on the second. If it is the second and the substance of the result, then it does not exist when the cause exists, and when it exists, the cause does not exist, then what does it rely on to truly acknowledge the other? One cannot say that the horse's horn is other in dependence on the cow's horn. If the desired cause produces the desired result, that is also other, it is the meaning of dissimilar things. The desired result is also not produced from the desired cause, because it is other, just like from something other than it. It is said: If the nature of things does not exist, Then because of what is something called other? One cannot say that cow horns and human horns, Horse horns are other. Any conditions such as the eye, When producing the consciousness of the eye, Others cannot truly produce, Because it is other, like reeds and so on. The cause of the desired eye's wisdom, Does not desire otherness like eye consciousness. Just like it was not previously existent, Just like a pot and cloth.
