It should be understood as starting from the purity of having no victory. In that regard, "Whoever has no near shore, nor a far shore in the middle," refers to dwelling in the absence of characteristics, not speaking of near shore, far shore, and middle, because the characteristics of the inner and outer sources of birth and the six consciousnesses do not arise at all. "They are not attached to either shore," means that although they abide constantly, they are not attached to differences such as being comfortable with desires. "Without bonds, without attachment, without pretense, and without outflows," means that by abandoning the all-encompassing wandering with latent tendencies, when afflictions are abandoned, there is no pretense, and by establishing without manifest pride, it is without outflows. "He is endowed with morality in the teachings of the Buddha, the protector of light," means that the meaning of that has already been explained. "The mind is not attached to names and forms. That is a mind that is in equanimity and is very subdued. Whoever has no self and no clinging to self, that alone is called abiding in morality." This sixth verse should be understood as starting from the utterly pure. In that regard, "The mind is not attached to names and forms," means that because there is no attachment to names and forms, there is no desire for rebirth. "That is in equanimity," means that one does not think that morality alone is sufficient, so the mind is in equanimity. "A very subdued mind" means that because the mind is very subdued, one does not think that mere samadhi is sufficient. "Whoever has no self and no clinging to self" means that because one is free from self, one does not think that worldly wisdom up to the peak of existence is sufficient. "That alone is called abiding in morality," means that it shows that the word "morality" is the most excellent of morality. One does not become arrogant by studying the Pratimoksha vows, therefore he will not become attached to this world, and he seeks the noble paths within it, which is the sign of pure morality. "Studying individual liberation, without arrogance, therefore in this

"One will not become attached to that." This means that one does not consider merely upholding morality to be sufficient, one does not consider it to be satisfying. "Above that, one seeks the noble paths, that is the sign of completely pure morality." This means that one does not consider merely meditative stabilization to be sufficient, therefore one seeks the path that transcends the world. "Morality is not the main thing, there is no attachment to that meditative stabilization, above that one completely seeks the cultivation of wisdom, the absence of an object is the lineage of the noble ones, that morality is praised by the Sugata." This eighth verse should be understood as beginning with purity that transcends the world. Among them, "Morality is not the main thing" means that one does not consider merely upholding morality to be sufficient. "There is no attachment to that meditative stabilization" means that one does not indulge in the taste of meditative stabilization. "Above that one completely seeks the cultivation of wisdom, the absence of an object is the lineage of the noble ones." This is in order to cultivate the higher wisdom that is gathered by the absence of an object. "Praised by the Sugata." This phrase is because there is nothing more worthy of praise beyond that. "The mind is liberated from the view of the assembly of destruction, here there will be no thought of 'I' and 'mine', one is particularly inclined towards the emptiness that is the realm of the Buddha, his morality is incomparable." This ninth verse should be understood as beginning with the purity of those who are learning and those who are not learning, and those who are neither learning nor not learning. Among them, "The mind is liberated from the view of the assembly of destruction" means that because one has abandoned the conceptual thoughts of the view of the assembly of destruction, it shows the purity of those who are learning. "Here there will be no thought of 'I' and 'mine'" means that because one has abandoned what is born together with the view of the assembly of destruction, it shows the purity of those who are not learning. "One is particularly inclined towards the emptiness that is the realm of the Buddha" means that because one is particularly inclined towards emptiness, it shows the purity of those who are neither learning nor not learning. "His morality is incomparable" means that because of the three purities of those who are learning and so on, the morality is neither the same nor superior, it is the ulti
