That is called, or. The second person who has bad behavior and resembles having discipline, and so on. The so-called completely abandoning those two faults means that the Vinaya holder is skilled in liberating from faults, and completely abandons the complete attachment to the view of the perishable collection. Although this is the case, since worldly purity has not been attained, the things born together with the view of the perishable collection have not been suppressed. The third is entering this Dharma, and also, some monks here abide in loving-kindness, from this to this third person has bad behavior, similar to a person with discipline. After obtaining the worldly pure precepts, even if the things born together with the view of the perishable collection are suppressed, since they are not completely removed, there is no self in the Dharma, this is ignorance, the discipline harmed by fear. The fourth is completely abandoning all faults other than that, and also, some monks here, even if they completely accept the twelve qualities of cultivation, still cling to the object, from abiding in the ego-grasping and the mine-grasping, to these four people have bad behavior, similar to a person with discipline and so on. Because of having wrong views about the selflessness of Dharma, this is the discipline harmed by pride. Whatever objects arise from these four people who abide in discipline are the characteristics of complete peace, which should be understood as the uncontaminated discipline. What are the arisen dharmas? For the first person who abides in discipline, it is clinging to self and clinging to what is mine, the antidote for this is called the light-guarding discipline, which is the so-called garbage without self. There is no fault, and not doing it, the antidote for this is called no action, not doing action. For doing and not doing as one pleases, the antidote for this is called not doing, not not doing. For walking with awareness and not doing so, the antidote for this is called not walking, not not walking. For acting excessively with loss of mindfulness, and not doing so, the antidote for this

Regarding observing the mind and body, which are the basis of faults on one side of bad habits, to counteract it, it is said to be nameless and formless. The characteristic of being born in the future, and there being no characteristic there, to counteract it, it is said to be without characteristics, not without characteristics. Regarding all perfect peace, and its habits not being peaceful, to counteract it, it is said to be not perfectly peaceful, not not perfectly peaceful. Regarding sentient beings being without self, those with discipline have no darkness and no bondage, so it is said. Having wrong livelihood, the conceptual thoughts are like dust, along with the basis of faults attached to self, to counteract it, those with discipline have no dust, no faults. So it is said, this is the meaning of the words of the first verse. Peace, extreme peace, mind of near peace. Free from thought and discrimination, without afflictions. Far from wavering and all arrogance. He is the disciplined radiant Buddha, in the Buddha's teachings. This second verse should be understood as starting from all aspects of the purity of discipline. For this, to counteract the nature and the basis of accomplice sins, the Pratimoksha vows should be distinguished in this way, for this, to counteract the defilement of evil conduct on the nature of discipline, the basis of sins, is peace. To counteract the basis of the sin of accomplice increase, is extreme peace. To counteract the basis of the sin of views, is the mind of near peace. To counteract the basis of the sin of conceptual thoughts with wrong livelihood, is being free from thought and discrimination, thus the discipline should be purified. Without afflictions, therefore the discipline of meditation is pure. Far from wavering and all arrogance. The remaining sentence is the pure discipline without outflows. He is the disciplined radiant Buddha, in the Buddha's teachings. This sentence shows that all that has been said is without difference, possessing discipline. Not looking at the body, not holding dear to life. There is no desire for all places of birth. Truly entering and abiding in discipline, he is the radiant Buddha.
