It should be understood as perfectly complete. Because all dharmas are seen as extremely pure and naturally free from all afflictions, therefore it is one's own island, not another's island, which means not relying on others, Wisdom thoroughly understands the suchness of dharma, naturally free from all afflictions. Since the Tathagata is not regarded as the nature of dharma, why mention attachment to the physical body? Since no attachment arises to the dharma, why mention expressing it through the path of words? Since there is no attachment to the noble unconditioned Sangha, why mention attachment to numerous gatherings? For any dharma that should be abandoned, there is no effort for this. Nor is there effort for the dharma that should be cultivated. There is neither birth in samsara, nor joy in nirvana. There is neither attachment to liberation, nor attachment to bondage, which refers to the boundaries of liberation such as the Three Jewels, which are also the nature of expression. Because there is no object of focus, therefore one should thoroughly understand completely and perfectly. Knowing that all dharmas are completely extinguished in their nature, one will not circulate everywhere, this is in order to vigorously cultivate the antidote to all afflictions. Complete extinction refers to suchness without cessation and without fear, this should be understood as ultimate perfection and completeness, this refers to the shramana who practices truthfully. Holder of Light, one should strive for the shramana who practices truthfully, and should not be harmed by names. This refers to the fourth good conduct being well practiced, Holder of Light, these four are shramanas. Holder of Light, for example, if a poor person is named "wealthy and abundant", Holder of Light, what do you think? Does that poor person match that name? Reporting to the World Honored One, it is not appropriate. The World Honored One taught: Holder of Light, similarly, those who are called shramanas and brahmins, but do not possess the merits of shramanas and brahmins, I say that they are poor people, using the analogy of poor people to illustrate that they have not practiced shramanas well. In this regard, there are also three ways to name

The meaning should be understood as it is, namely, having a wrong intention but perfect practice, having a perfect intention but wrong practice, and having both a wrong intention and wrong practice. Among them, having a wrong intention but perfect practice should be understood in three ways: being content with merely hearing the teachings, being content with merely speaking about them, and being content with merely experiencing the taste of worldly samadhi. Light Protector, for example, like someone being carried away by the sea, etc., the example of the sea is having a wrong intention but perfect practice, and it should be known as clinging to listening. Light Protector, for example, like a doctor carrying a medicine bag, the example of "causation," etc., should be known as clinging to speaking about it. Light Protector, for example, like a sick person taking medicine suitable for a king but dying because the treatment was not done according to the ritual, etc., the example of the sick person should be known as clinging to merely enjoying the taste of worldly meditation. Among them, what is like medicine suitable for a king is worldly samadhi. What is like not performing the ritual properly is like enjoying its taste. What is like dying from it should be known as completely falling away from that samadhi. Light Protector, for example, like a precious jewel being degraded if it falls into an unclean place, etc., the example of the precious jewel should be known as having a perfect intention but wrong practice. Light Protector, for example, like a corpse wearing a gold necklace, etc., the example of the corpse should be known as having both a wrong intention and wrong practice. Light Protector, for example, like the son of a merchant being thoroughly bathed, fully anointed, having his hair and nails cut, wearing white clothes, anointing his head with the best sandalwood, and wearing a garland of champaka flowers, etc., the example of the merchant's son is having both a perfect intention and perfect practice, which is
