That which is called "without" means there is nothing to be abandoned. The statement "there is no fabrication in that" refers to the aggregates. The statement "that is unconditioned" means that all of that is spoken in order to describe it. That which is unconditioned is thus established. The statement "that is the lineage of the noble ones" means that by focusing on that, one obtains the object of the noble ones, and those who are distinguished by that are the noble ones. That lineage is also distinguished by nirvana with aggregates remaining, nirvana without any aggregates remaining, and the nirvana of a Bodhisattva. In that regard, having passed away at the time of nirvana with aggregates remaining, it is said, "There is no learning, and there is no transcendence of learning." This is for the sake of learning well. There is no going because the aggregates have been abandoned. There is no not-going because there are remaining aggregates after abandoning the aggregates. There is also no pervasive going, which refers to the afflictions. The statement "although there is no mind, there are also no mental phenomena" refers to those with afflictions. The statement "there is also no karma in that" refers to that which arises from the cause of karma for rebirth. The statement "there is also no ripening of karma" is spoken with reference to nirvana without any aggregates remaining. Therefore, that which is without happiness and without suffering in that way is the lineage of the noble ones, as before. In that lineage, there is no karma and no manifestation of karma. In that lineage, there is no action of the body, not of speech, and not of mind. These three sutra statements greatly negate the distinctions of karma. With regard to action, learning, and their combination, the statement "in that lineage, there is also no establishment of inferior, middling, or superior" greatly negates the distinctions of sentient beings. With regard to the nirvana of a Bodhisattva, it is said that "that lineage is equal," showing its distinction through the equality of engaging in benefiting oneself and others. The statement "that lineage is without distinction" means that all aspects of enlightenment are without cessation, thus showing that Bodhisattvas, pure ones, etc., are without distinction.

E! That lineage is secluded. The name "secluded" indicates that there is no difference in the lineage of those beings. That lineage is in accordance with Nirvana, and the name "in accordance with Nirvana" indicates the distinction of that karma in other lineages. That lineage is immaculate, and the name "immaculate" indicates that although liberation is common, it shows the distinction of abandoning habitual tendencies. That lineage is without "mine," and the name "without 'mine'" indicates that there is no separate determination for pure lands and the like. That lineage is unequaled, and the name "unequaled" indicates that this karma does not discriminate between the virtues and faults of Nirvana and Samsara, thus showing equality. Arising from the equality of truth and non-truth, the name "arising from the equality of truth and non-truth" means that in the sense of truth, truth is Nirvana. In the sense of falsehood, non-truth should be understood as Samsara. That lineage is the ultimate truth, and the name "truth" indicates that this instruction is not deceptive, thus showing that it is not common with other heretics. That lineage is inexhaustible, and the name "inexhaustible" indicates that even though one enters Nirvana without remaining aggregates, the continuum of benefiting sentient beings is not interrupted. That is supremely unborn, and the name "supremely unborn" indicates that it is not born by the power of karma and afflictions, but by the power of obtaining enjoyment, therefore it shows that. That lineage is eternal, and the name "eternal" indicates that it is not other in the times of Nirvana and Samsara, therefore it is called happiness, virtue, and selflessness. That lineage is completely pure, and the name "completely pure" indicates that the knowable is pure, and that purification and intention are pure, and it is only for this reason that it is fully shown. From here to beyond the world, establishing antidotes should be understood as a great meaning. This is the connection and the order as such. Light-protected Bodhisattva should strive for the benefit of sentient beings, and he should perfectly gather all roots of virtue. Having perfectly gathered all roots of virtue, he should give them to all sentient beings. What medicine of wisdom is gathered, the name "what medicine of wisdom is gathered" indicates that it is to benefit others with the wisdom of the world and beyond. Going in four directions, the name "going in four directions," what are the four directions? Subduing sentient beings.
