I show stealing and the like as the cause, in order to taste the flavor of meditative absorption and to fully display decay, this is said in order. Why is it thought that one does not rejoice in the antidote? Because it shows the same cause as a thief, because it steals the collection of roots of virtue. If one also recognizes suffering as a virtue and rejoices, then what fault is there in becoming like that? To this question, it shows that because of having perfection and decline, one becomes attached to it, and the harm caused by anger. If it causes harm, why does one still rejoice? To this question, because one likes form and so on, it shows that it is like the eyes of a fly, a war drum, a pig, a maidservant eating food scraps, and a bee. If one asks, "The mind of the light protector, if one searches everywhere, it cannot be found," how should this sentence be connected? The answer is, it shows the cause of other-dependent nature, how is it other-dependent nature? When searching completely, the imputed and the perfectly established nature are searched, this completely shows that searching for the mind of the imputed nature, in reality, is invisible. Because it is invisible, what is thoroughly distinguished is the mind of the perfectly established nature, this is considered to be the unconditioned that will be shown below, therefore it shows that it does not arise in the three times. Just as entering into cessation, immediately after that there is no mind, therefore it does not arise in the three times, like this, not arising should be understood as not being, it completely shows that it transcends the three times. That is because it does not transcend the three times, so even when rising from it, the mind arises. In order to abandon the wrong view of clinging to what transcends the three times as non-existent, it is said conversely, showing that it is neither existent nor non-existent, because the imputed and the other-dependent nature are non-existent, while the perfectly established nature is existent, so it is completely shown. The so-called "That is unarisen" refers to the cause of things. The so-called "That is without self-nature" refers to the self-nature of the cause of beings in hell and other specifically determined paths. The so-called "That is unborn" refers to the absence of the cause of birth. The so-called "That is without cessation" refers to death and transference. The so-called "That is inseparable" refers to abandonment. That inseparable
