Because of abiding very much in what one is, it is indeed abiding in the fruition. For example, just as there is awareness in awakening from sleep, so too, in abiding in that, there is awareness of returning from absorption. What is this returning? Abiding in peace itself, even though there is awareness, because of the power of true knowledge, the signs will be destroyed. O sons of the Victorious Ones, like this. For example, from "a person in a dream while sleeping" onwards, because it occurs until "will become free from all effort," it is because of possessing the particularly excellent wisdom of suchness that one is free from all effort. Having made it subject to complete purity, the two, samsara and nirvana, will not appear as universal conduct, as it is said, all of the universal conduct of those two will not appear at all. Having made it subject to the complete enjoyment of objects, the universal conduct of signs will not appear, as it is said, the universal conduct of signs will not appear at all. The birth of the Brahma world, what is the similar example? That is wanting to be far from all the afflictions of the lower grounds. On the aspect of entering into that, because there is no arising of mind and so forth, the arising of mind, intellect, and consciousness also does not arise, because it occurs like that. On the aspect of returning, there is no arising for the Buddhas and so forth, from "Is there arising for the Buddhas?" onwards, until "If all arising does not arise for the stream-enterer," because it occurs like that. Among those, by the distinction of the Great Vehicle, are the arisings for the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and limbs of enlightenment. By the distinction of the Hearer Vehicle, are the arisings for nirvana and Hearers and so forth. Even in the Great Vehicle, by the distinction of individuals, are the arisings for the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. By the distinction of Dharma, is the arising for enlightenment. Even in the Hearer Vehicle, for the non-learner and the aspiration

Distinctions of kind and distinctions of Dharma universally lead to Nirvana. Distinctions of the unlearned universally lead to Arhatship. Distinctions of the learned universally lead to Anagami, etc. After that, at that time, the all-knowing, compassionate ones, first accomplishing the wisdom of the Tathagatas, what did they do? It was to have loving-kindness for sentient beings, to be content with merely abiding in happiness, to subdue the difficult to subdue. Regarding this, praising what has been done, encouraging what has not been done, not abandoning those who abide in it, for those who have not attained the Buddha-Dharma, with the power of their own ability, again and again with various causes, from the realm of peace, causing them to move, and combining them with the activities of benefiting sentient beings. Those who abide in the stream of the Dharma-door, for those who are merely content with happiness, they subdue them. How do they subdue them? It is by accomplishing the wisdom of the Tathagatas. After the wisdom of the Tathagatas has been accomplished, it is said as such. Praising what has been done, that is, saying "Good! Good!" etc., is praising what has been done, it is a synonym for truly praising those who have attained merit. Encouraging what has not been done, that is, what has not been done is what has not been manifested by those who have not attained merit. To them, they exhort, saying: We have the ten powers, etc., complete, but you do not have them. In order to be complete, strive! With "This door of patience is also briefly spoken," etc., it shows its ability by not abandoning. The so-called benefiting sentient beings is of great significance. Then what kind of sentient beings are they? They are those who are completely defiled by afflictions. How are they defiled? It is shown by "Think about these," etc. Those who are completely entangled are those who are not pacified. Those who have become habitual are those who are not completely pacified. Householders are those in whom various afflictions universally arise. The renunciants are those who are disturbed by various conceptual thoughts. The absence of the fruit of aspiration is from the past.

What is meant by "remembering the aspiration"? Maturing sentient beings but without result, what is meant by "obtaining the benefit of sentient beings"? The accumulation of wisdom without result, what is meant by "the gate of wisdom is inconceivable"? Toiling for the uncommon meaning without result means that this realm of Dharma is the nature of permanence. Therefore, the Tathagatas are not merely temporarily separated, but also the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas can all attain this non-discriminating Dharma nature. It is said that the uncommon meaning is not the realm of practice for Shravakas and others, but the realm of the Buddha. In order to attain it, all the diligence you have initiated from a long time ago, such as practicing austerities and habits, will become fruitless. Why? Because the non-discriminating Dharma nature that you have attained can also be attained by Shravakas and others. Therefore, it is not reasonable to be content with attaining this, thus it is shown. All of these are true praises. In terms of doing the benefit of sentient beings, the perfection of the Buddhas, the ability to accomplish through immeasurable bodies and so on, is fully revealed. What is meant by "by what place" is the nature of immeasurable body. What is meant by "by what conventional and ultimate wisdom" is the nature of immeasurable wisdom. What is meant by "by what pure land" is the nature of immeasurable Buddha land. What is meant by "by what knowing the behavior of those to be tamed" is the nature of immeasurable manifestation of wisdom. What is meant by "by what is gathered" is the nature of immeasurable light wheel. Others recite the two words in reverse order. What is meant by "by what is declared" is the nature of immeasurable branches of speech sounds. Therefore, you also generate manifestation in the same way.
