I am not. The appearance of Vipassanā and Śamatha is the cause, and it is obtained by diligently striving for it. "Having been completely liberated from its obscurations" means having been completely liberated from the obscurations of practice, in order to understand the meaning of practice. This is the meaning of the words. "Having obtained the treasury of Dharma" means because it possesses the qualities of separately understanding dependent origination in ten ways, and so on. Method and wisdom themselves are the cause of non-abiding Nirvāṇa, because method, compassion, does not abide in Nirvāṇa, and wisdom does not abide in Saṃsāra. The measurable aspect of the object is the maṇḍala of light. Because it is immeasurable light. "By completely grasping, completely drying up, completely establishing, and agitating," this is the meaning of the words, which is what is said as the four maṇḍalas of wind. The conduct of the paths of Māra is entering, as it is said, "By the evil conduct of the paths of the four Māras," this is what is said. "In the previous manner" is the meaning of the words, "as shown in the first bhūmi." The connection of the seventh bhūmi is: The seventh bhūmi, with five causes, wants to establish, for those who delight in non-action, the antidote is the first establishment. By abandoning its distraction, it is considered the second establishment. Having obtained the path of union, the third is manifestation. By the difference of before and after, it is considered the fourth establishment. By establishing its result, it is said to be the fifth establishment. First, for those who delight in non-action, the antidote, from method and wisdom, truly arises another path. It has ten distinctions. Why? Because this Bodhisattva mostly manifests the wisdom of the object of the signless, in order to enter, it does not manifest, for outward and joyful entry, it is not in any way, therefore, for its antidote, there are ten aspects of the path's cultivation. How is it? One who abides in the Prajñāpāramitā that clearly tends towards the wisdom of non-attachment, due to manifestation, clearly gathers.

One rejoices in the absence of effort, not in making effort in the path of higher realms. Therefore, in the absence of effort, one abides in what is called the antidote of joy. Thus, Bodhisattvas are roused from non-effort and shown to enter the path of higher realms, which is called effort and arising. The means is compassion, with which one looks upon sentient beings. Therefore, the wisdom of selflessness in the Dharma is combined with looking upon sentient beings. Because it is fully grasped by means and wisdom, the path of higher realms is fully grasped by the antidote; this is another path. This is said to be superior to other worldly and transmundane paths, the former because it lacks an antidote, and the latter because it completely turns its back on existence. This is superior with four kinds of qualities, and how one desires the cause of the distinction of enjoyment and body is by the power of thought. What is called 'as long as one desires' depends on time. In order to truly accomplish the cause of obtaining the distinction of body and enjoyment, various entities, as long as samsara exists, it is the first cause, which is what is said to be the great accumulation of merit, and so on. To meditate on the immeasurable while being attached to self and so on is to act wrongly. The cause of completely protecting oneself from that is to realize entering into the selflessness of phenomena. Therefore, having obtained such distinction, meditating on the immeasurable does not cause harm to sentient beings, nor does it abandon the actualization of the four immeasurables, which is said to be the second cause. The cause of completely protecting the roots of virtue is the absence of attachment to phenomena. Therefore, whatever causes transform the roots of virtue into something special, those causes cause them to increase well. How does it increase? Whatever collections of Dharma are of the nature of merit, those who make effort in them, by what do they make effort in them? They are the perfections, and by accomplishing them well, they make them complete.
