It should be known that the nature of the limbs of existence is cessation. How is it known? The signless liberation is the cause, and a slight decline is just a slight decline of mind, like a slight souring. Because one universally uses signs for the benefit of sentient beings, it is said that it is not permanently abandoned, this is the concluding remark. The unfavorable side declines slightly because it does not cause complete affliction. Whatever is the afflicted nature of the limbs of existence, that is what ceases. Because the limbs of existence are universally shown for the benefit of sentient beings, it is not that the limbs of existence themselves will cease. In that case, the slight decline of the unfavorable side should be known as the cessation of the nature of the limbs of existence. What is called being very close to liberation is finding the antidote. Because one follows the gate of signless liberation until Buddhahood, one has obtained the signless antidote, therefore it is said to have found the antidote. What is called not arising any sign of dharma is that all signs do not appear. Therefore, it is said that the gate of signless liberation has arisen, which is the concluding remark because of these aspects such as the cessation of the nature of the limbs of existence as mentioned before. Absence of aspiration is also fully shown in three ways. How is it shown? What is called entering into emptiness and signlessness in this way is abiding, because absence of aspiration is accomplished by relying on emptiness and signlessness. What is called not arising any desire is the nature, because absence of aspiration is the nature of absence of desire. What is called sending forth great compassion and except for fully ripening sentient beings is the distinction, although the nature of absence of aspiration of the hearers is also without manifest desire, but that is abandoning the manifest desire to ripen sentient beings. Therefore, the absence of aspiration of the Bodhisattva is superior because of the manifest desire to fully ripen sentient beings. Thus, the gate of his absence of aspiration liberation has arisen, which is because of abiding and so on.

That is the term "explained by three kinds of words." For a moment, understand that the distinction of the result of the distinction of accomplishing the non-abiding path through obtaining the distinction of the antidote should be understood in this way. In that, the three perceptions of the decline of the unfavorable side are called "complete destruction." Where is it? The fifth, fourth, and sixth grounds. These three perceptions should be known as three abandonments in sequence. How is it abandoned? From meditating on these three doors of liberation, on the fifth ground, with the equal mind of mind, one is separated from the perception of self and others. On the fourth ground, in particular, one is separated from agitation and so on, and is separated from the perception of the agent and the receiver. On this sixth ground, with equality and so on, one is separated from the perception of existence and non-existence. Such is the distinction of the decline of the unfavorable side. The distinction of accomplishment, from the doors of armor and the actions of a man, both branches are well shown. Union is superior compassion. What is superior compassion like? Like this, in order to complete those who have not yet completed the limbs of enlightenment, one first sends forth great compassion, and therefore strives even more diligently, because it is said in the sutras. In order to liberate beings from afflictions, and in order to permanently abandon the aggregates of birth, this is the accomplishment of armor. Binding the bonds of afflictions from all sides, and cutting off the aggregates, is abandonment. Because he does the benefit of sentient beings, he is distinctive, and non-abiding nirvana is united with this. How is it united? He thinks like this: From all sides of union, conditioned things arise. From separation, conditioned things do not arise, and one should not attain the complete peace of formations, he thinks, because it is said in the sutras. The accomplishment of the actions of a man is twofold: completely refuting is the path of union, and the path of abandonment. Separately observing the accumulation of causes of many faults is "O sons of the conquerors, like that, becoming a conditioned thing, accumulating the faults of many faults," which is what is said. The self-characteristic and the common characteristic of self
