It is to be fully examined without making two assumptions. The separate examination of exhaustion by non-existence is called the separate examination of the very absence of cause. If there is no cause, then there is no existence. If there is a cause, then there is existence. That which exists is exhausted, and that is what is separately examined. This separate examination of dependent arising in ten aspects means showing how the ten aspects are joined together. Showing the complete examination by establishing characteristics and truth, that is, characteristics and truth. The complete examination by establishing these two is the complete examination by establishing characteristics and truth. If the complete examination is shown through the establishment of the nature of proof and refutation, and the truth, should it not be said in this way, through the establishment of the answer and nature of proof and refutation, and the truth? In this way, it should be understood that dependent arising is also completely examined from three aspects. Is that what is said? There is no fault in this, because here it is the occasion for the complete examination of dependent arising in ten aspects, and because the first aspect is joined among those aspects, it is not said in this way through the establishment of proof and so on. The complete examination of the establishment of truth should be understood as the complete examination of ultimate truth and conventional truth, because these nine aspects are joined to them. Furthermore, this means explaining the ten aspects of dependent arising with two other aspects, that is, following compassion and following, what is the meaning of how compassion enters, and completely understanding all aspects. Among them, the complete examination in accordance with compassion is also the four aspects, universal ignorance and perversion, that is, universal ignorance and perversion, these two aspects are one complete understanding. How is it called universal ignorance and perversion? Universal ignorance is unclear. Perversion is wrong thinking. By clinging to the appearance of self, etc., it shows how it is universal ignorance.

The term "intelligent" indicates how things are inverted, because of the inversion of clinging to self, wisdom is small. The term "characteristics of the limbs of existence" indicates what is completely obscured, that is, thinking in the mind, starting from "the childish intelligent one manifestly clings to self" and ending with "there is no destroyer," thus the Bodhisattva thoroughly contemplates dependent origination in a proper manner, which is all that is said. The term "characteristics of the limbs of existence" also indicates what is inverted, that is, thinking in the mind, starting from "not understanding the truths is ultimate ignorance" and ending with "because of clinging to the agent, all actions exist," which is all that is said. Thus, it is inverted. How is it inverted? It is not that actions arise due to the power of ignorance, but what is it then? It is due to the power of self, that is, thinking that I am the agent of all actions, and also the basis of dharma and non-dharma. The term "so ignorant" is according to the form described above. From the ālaya-vijñāna and the entering consciousness, liberation should be completely sought, because only these two are defiled by afflictions, karma, and the defilement of birth, and whatever is defiled by defilement can be purified from the three defilements described above. If it can be purified, then apart from individual discrimination, it is completely sought from the self, which itself will become bondage, because of discrimination it becomes liberation. Such is completely seeking liberation from others, that is, thinking in the mind, as it is said, "These three realms are only mind." How is it to seek completely in other ways? The term "in other ways" means in the form of others. What is that? It is said to be "dissimilar causes," thus it is seeking in other ways. In order to show the dissimilar causes, the term "three forms" is spoken.
