It is called "utterly pure speech." It is said in the sutra, "Extremely accumulated collections," the former is explained as the collection of wisdom for holding what is heard. This is the collection of merit. Thus, when hearing is completely perfected and one is in a state consistent with the aspect of definitive discernment, abiding on the path of application of realization, one possesses many qualities such as few desires because the body and mind are secluded, and because the speech is completely pure in all aspects, it is called "utterly pure application." It is said in the sutra, "Possessing immeasurable qualities." If one enters the path of seeing, in order to abandon doubt, it is called being free from hesitation and uncertainty, which expresses the utterly pure realization. After that, on the path of meditation, because all the afflictions of the nature of afflictions and near afflictions are abandoned, and because there are no afflictions, it is called "utterly pure non-disturbance by afflictions." After that, having abandoned all afflictions, although one is able to pass beyond sorrow, because one possesses compassion and wisdom, one transcends the lesser vehicle, and because one desires the special attainment of a Bodhisattva, it is called "utterly pure contentment with clinging." It is said in the sutra, "Abiding greatly in higher intention and aspiration," because one has higher intention and aspiration to abide greatly in the Great Vehicle. Such individuals, by the power of their own knowledge alone, give instructions for the sake of self-arising wisdom, therefore it is called "utterly pure non-reliance on others for subsequent instruction." If it is heard by the ears of those who cannot become vessels or who lack fortune, it shows the faults of abandoning what is displeasing to others, and so on. The term "supreme" is a limb, a separate Tibetan word. The stainless mind of the holy one is distinguished by the teacher, and the holy one is superior to the Hearers and so on. Because it is free from all stains of affliction, it is stainless, and it is shown to be without outflows. The explanation of "If one speaks, one speaks well, with boundless confidence" is that one has inexhaustible rational confidence in questions and prophecies.

It is called "". Why is that? Because good speech is explanation, so it is reasonable. Limitless means inexhaustible, that is, without end. Saying "say" means "act," which is a synonym for others talking and asking. This is also explained by "asking prophecy." If you ask, "How does 'pleasant and excellent' show the perfection of the letters?" The answer is: Pleasantness and vastness are two aspects, of which pleasantness is pleasant because of pleasantness, and excellence is excellent because of vastness. The meaning of "having sacred meaning" is that because the perfection of meaning is easy to understand, it is not explained. Only for mindfulness, here, through the difference of place, mindfulness and retention are shown as two ways, just like strength. Just as the power of faith must overcome unfavorable aspects and become an excellent state called strength, here also, mindfulness in the state of hearing is receiving, and later becoming excellent is retention. Another way is to say that according to the difference of objects, not forgetting the sound is receiving, and not forgetting the meaning is retention, so it corresponds to the states of hearing and thinking. Obtaining the power of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who possess the ten powers, is realization and attainment. The so-called "pure intention" refers to showing entry into the bhumi, which is realization. Through these or in these, through the separate elaboration of meaning, separation is the nature of the teaching, so combine "explain each with correct wisdom" with it. Because of arrogance, one's mind is completely attached to one's own dharmas such as caste and appearance, and one does not strive to practice the Dharma, so one should know that one will not respect the Dharma. Because of pride, one does not serve the virtuous friend who shows these, so one will not respect the speaker of Dharma. Because of wrong views, one has wrong perceptions of self and what belongs to self, etc., so one will fall away from the correct path. Because of doubt, doubting "what is this, is it or is it not," one will have faults with the inconceivable dharmas of the Buddha.
