The term "fearlessness" indicates that it shows the cause of fearlessness, and it also explains the complete certainty of realization of these. Whatever is not obscure and seeks meaning, that is fearlessness, therefore, the very word "fearlessness" also explains not being obscure and seeking meaning. Then, what is the difference between the complete certainty of realization and not being obscure and seeking meaning? Because just gaining a little realization, seeing the truth is the complete certainty of realization. Even those who have attained realization, if they have not personally realized the meaning to be explained, and they are still seeking that meaning, then for those who have not realized the meaning to be explained, speaking is fruitless, therefore, in order to avoid this situation, "fearlessness" is said, those who are not obscure and seek meaning are those who have personally realized the meaning of this teaching. Otherwise, why not say it? The rest is just that the teacher himself has distinguished it. The so-called "not to be abandoned," because it does not cause harm, so it is not to be abandoned, meaning that eating it does not cause harm and it will be well absorbed. Another explanation is that because it is not something to be discarded, it is not to be abandoned, meaning that it does not require effort to eat, because it is very soft, so it is naturally digested. Therefore, because it does not die, or with it one does not die, so it is nectar, through it one does not abandon the life of the holy Dharma, and with it one does not abandon the life of the holy Dharma, meaning that through complete transformation, one can obtain happiness through the Dharma. The so-called "difficult" etc., extremely difficult is because it is inherently difficult to realize. Difficult because of unfamiliarity, because it is without outflows, so it is not accustomed, habit is familiarity. These grounds themselves are the cause, because they are the reason for the Bodhisattva's realization through the order of hearing etc. If they are the essence of speaking, then how are they not the nature of the Dharma, and how are they called the Dharma when distinguishing them? Because one wants to state them separately, just like "proclaiming the sutra."
