There is no fault. If it is thought that the knowledge arising from meditation is the direct perception of a yogi, and therefore not conceptual, then how can this be expressed in terms of conceptual words? Therefore, it is said, "Those of the three realms," because they do not make the ultimate reality manifest, so all that is tainted is conceptual. This is to show this. The term "any of the distinctions of mind arising from maturation" means that maturation, good and non-good, and the unstated, are not completely abandoned, and always arise, so it is difficult to understand, because it is subtle, so it is said, "any one." In this way, how can such a profound meaning be expressed in conventional terms? Similarly, it is difficult to explain, add this sentence. How is it difficult to explain in the same way? It is said in the scriptures, "If beings hear it, they will be confused there." It should be understood that this treatise is specifically for explaining this verse. Just as drawing a picture on a wall with conventional words, if it is only expressed in ultimate truth, then children, because they do not understand this, will each pursue sounds, and cling to the objects of pervasive imputation expressed by sounds, so it is called "grasping the meaning as it sounds." The term "where the mind matures" means that because it is the place where the seeds of the mind grow, the internal aggregates are the earth, like the earth for seeds. The term "where it moves" means that because it is focused on the minds that are grasped and not grasped, it moves without obstruction, and all dharmas are the earth, like the king's land. Alternatively, this is merely to show that it is superior to what was said before, just as, from the stage of practicing with faith in the supreme perfection, even what is obtained from birth will manifest as a great transformation. If one quibbles with words such as "like a leaf," isn't it said that "wind appears on the leaf"? That is not possible, because wind is always inferred, not an object of the eye, so it is said, "by the act of shaking." Like this, what we are saying is observing the leaf with the eye, not correctly measuring it with signs such as movement.

one can realize its existence. However, it is said that emptiness is not like that. It is said because it is encompassed by the nature of investigation. Unspeakable is because it is completely established, therefore it is its non-self-nature and suddenness. If one can listen in any way, then "like this" and so on, meaning that it is not that one cannot listen at all, but by making the mind firm through two kinds of firmness, and also knowing that the Dharma is without self-nature, then one can listen, because there is such a saying, so it is said that it is possible to listen. "Pure intention" and so on, refers to the method of obtaining the desired teachings, which is through constantly seeking understanding, that is, seeking understanding as the goal. It is not for the sake of obtaining many teachings, so it is pure intention. Furthermore, the sutra says: "Constantly seeking is completely purified," because these people have the characteristic of constantly seeking the method of obtaining non-inverted teachings, that is, the desired characteristic is completely purified. Thus, seeking non-inverted teachings is through pleasing the bodily and verbal actions that are in accordance with the virtuous teachers who proclaim the teachings, so it is constantly seeking complete purity. Furthermore, the sutra says: "One should practice extremely diligently," because these people have the characteristic of practicing diligently, that is, relying on the virtuous teachers who proclaim the teachings and so on. Thus, by striving to please them, one can obtain non-inverted and non-diminishing teachings from those virtuous teachers, and it is much rather than little, and it is remembered for a long time, not just for a few years or a lifetime, so it is the complete purity of retaining the teachings. Furthermore, one should know that because it does not come from a few people, but from countless people, it is much and also long-lasting. Thus, by retaining the non-inverted teachings, and through the excellence of aspiration, in order to obtain an excellent rebirth. By obtaining the excellence of mindfulness that completely retains all correct teachings, therefore, through rebirth, obtaining is also completely pure.
