It is also not possessing, because of the nature of not being close to those and not forgetting. Because of the absence of those before they arise, it is not close, therefore it is not possessing, and because of the nature of not forgetting, it is also not non-possessing, for if it exists, the images of those knowledges arise, and if it does not exist, they do not arise. Forgetfulness is the absence of fear. Not forgetting is existence. Or, not forgetting the object is not forgetting. Thus, all collections of knowable things are extremely clear to it as their own nature, and the knowledge of all beings in the three times does not arise without being comprehended by it, but only arises when comprehended. Therefore, all knowable things are of the nature of not forgetting, so it is also not non-possessing. Those things that become the reason for arising are also not transformed into different things, because just like a mirror, they arise without any difference. It is said that, for example, the center of a mirror gathers together the distinctions of possessing and not possessing images, and although it is devoid of touch, it becomes the reason for arising, similarly, the wisdom like a mirror also gathers together the distinctions of the nature of both, and although it is devoid of touch, it becomes the reason for the arising of images of knowledge. Seeds and so on are also the nature of not being able to be spoken of as both fruit, and become the reason for the arising of fruit, and the limbs of appearance are also not possessing form and so on, because by approaching it, the knowledge of the aspects of form and so on arises extremely. Therefore, in all places, the gathering of the nature of both is seen as the reason for things, devoid of touch, and there is no possession of the characteristic of the meeting of cause and effect. Well-wiping from all sides is for the sake of truly showing things, and well-wiping from all sides by means of establishing. Becoming the reason for the arising of all images, the classification of this is intention and so on. The appearance is completely without lack and immeasurable, extremely subdued is called

Complete cessation is because there is no complete cessation from the aspect of the object. From the aspect of time of immeasurable aspects, it is because the wisdom that is separate from all defilements arises at all times and constantly. Extreme subduedness is because of abandoning all obscurations by the distinction of samadhi as mentioned before. Those with definite lineage are for the purpose of definitely arising by their own vehicle, and those with indefinite lineage are for the purpose of completely liberating from suffering by the Mahayana or another vehicle, through direct and indirect means, by the distinction of the complete maturation of their own roots of virtue, they become the causal object for the arising of the path of arising. 'Completely' is called extremely subdued by all samadhis. Or in all directions, for it, there is no direction that does not become the causal object for the arising of the image of what is known. If it is only the cause of the arising of images like a mirror, then it would become the fault of complete cessation, if you say so, it is not like that, for example, the mirror is the causal object for the arising of images of earth, etc., but even in a small mirror, one can see large and numerous images of mountains, etc., therefore those quantities are also not there, and also the outline of the mirror, the quantity of number or the quantity of body, those will not become quantities. Similarly, the wisdom like a mirror is also the causal object for the arising of all images of the mundane and supramundane, but from the aspect of the object or the aspect of number, there is no complete cessation, because the body is immeasurable, and it will not become the difference in number arising from the cause. For that very reason, becoming the source of mundane and supramundane wisdom, therefore the Buddhas are called the great source of wisdom, as it is said, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, because they possess the wisdom of the place of all aspects of wisdom, are called the great source of wisdom. If it is the cause of the arising of wisdom in order to definitely arise by the three vehicles, then it is the cause of arising, the proximate

Then, how can't non-Buddhists generate correct knowledge, therefore, it would be a necessary conclusion that there is no inverted view for them, if you say so, that is not right. Because that is not the reason. For example, the center of a mirror will not become the reason for the appearance of images of objects obscured by other objects such as walls. Similarly, the wisdom of the Tathagata, like a mirror, will not become the reason for the appearance of knowledge or images for sentient beings who are completely controlled by bad friends and obscured by listening to non-Dharma, even if they listen to the Dharma. Therefore, non-Buddhists will not generate the noble path, so inverted views will arise. For example, just as things obscured by external causes do not appear, it is the same for things obscured by the darkness of inner ignorance. Similarly, by the power of both causes, the path of abandoning the Dharma is the action that will be impoverished by the Dharma. If it is obscured by it, one will not be able to hear the Dharma even after a long time, because being obscured by it is itself poverty. So, is its result not hearing the Dharma? If there is no hearing, is it because it cannot be said? If you say so, it cannot be said that that is the result. However, one will obtain a body that cannot hear the Dharma, such as incomplete senses, etc. Non-desirers refer to those who do not completely liberate from suffering and have the nature of no seed. Because all their continuums are not completely pure, some are temporary and some are eternally non-vessels. For example, just as the image of the moon will not appear in a container of water that has been muddied by mud, etc., wisdom will not become the reason for them to generate knowledge. This explains that from the knowledge of non-right views, mirror-like wisdom has eight differences: definitive word, non-discrimination, purifying all obstacles, becoming the reason for the appearance of knowledge images, no attachment to self, not forgetting all knowable objects, constantly appearing at all times and places, being the source of all knowledge, and non-vessel.
