Because of you, I have come from other places. It is not that I do not respect others. Rather, I have come from very distant places in other worlds, and I also possess great power, so needless to say, how could I not be close to others? Great virtue is to be understood as greatness in nine ways. Great diligence is to truly enter the great place in order to completely protect all sentient beings, that is, the great Bodhisattvas. This is also the Great Vehicle. The diligence of truly entering is for that reason. Great cause is to listen to the Dharma of the Great Vehicle, such as the ten bhumis, and to arise definitively through the stages of thinking and meditation. Great object is to enable all sentient beings to attain equality between self and others, and to combine them equally with love and so on. Great time is to enter all times as if it were a single instant, thereby abandoning all distinctions between kalpas and non-kalpas. Greatness of non-desire is to abandon all attachments, thereby destroying all demons. For example, when the Wisdom Ocean Bodhisattva does not seek all attachments, at that time he destroys the arguments of the demons and so on. Great attention is to cut off and abandon attention to the Lesser Vehicle. Great manifestation of closeness is to show closeness with the joy and happiness of the Dharma of the Great Vehicle. Great purification is to be completely purified of the three kinds of karma, thereby completely escaping from all fears. That is, there is no cause for fear of the lower realms, no evil conduct, precepts, and so on. The five fears are the fear of having no livelihood, the fear of having no restraint, the fear of death, the fear of the lower realms, and the fear of shame in the retinue. These can only be eliminated by attaining the ground of pure superior intention. Great discrimination is in omniscience

Because the state of the Tathagata's teachings has been attained, it becomes the sole path. The seven bhumis of the Bodhisattva are not the sole path because they arise with manifest activity. Path means the road. Because of attaining that, the other Bodhisattvas are the sole path. For some, the irreversible state is the sole path, thus combining the words. For those, from here, by what means is the harm to all sentient beings, any cause, any reason, etc., those are completely pacified, manifest. That state is great compassion and great love. Because those two completely pacify all harm, including the elimination of harm, and completely pacify suffering such as poverty. Because those two mostly do things that benefit sentient beings, attaining that is great. The samadhi that perfects all qualities is extremely concentrated. Because of attaining that, the name of the Bodhisattva is also called that, the name is completely distinguished by the nature of dharma, like loving-kindness. Indicating that name is because that is the chief in that retinue. The teaching to the Bodhisattva's extremely concentrated state is the place of teaching. Why? If the Shravakas are not the place, it is because the Bodhisattvas, desiring to attain the state of omniscience, generate faith in such a dharma aspect. They enter, strive, and also accomplish through effort, but the Shravakas, because they do not have a share of omniscience, even if they generate faith, cannot accomplish it through effort. Then why does it become such a place of teaching? Because greatness is proclaimed in that retinue, as previously stated. Or there, it is the freedom of the Bodhisattvas named so-and-so, so there is no contradiction. The state of the Buddha is established by numbers, names, summaries, various distinctions of determination, and four aspects. Merely indicating one's own nature can determine the difference in numbers, but it is said again.

The reason for saying "five" instead of few and many is to show that it is only five. Dharma exists by holding its own characteristics, not by the meaning of maturing karmic results and producing suffering. There are three kinds of Buddhas: Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya, which will be explained later. Their place is the realm of walking, and without distinguishing between self-nature and the establishment of karmic results, all dharmas are their realm. It is precisely because of this that it is said to be "collected," because they abide in its self-nature. Becoming one is collected by its own characteristics. Among them, the four mindfulnesses are collected by the wisdom of observation, because they observe the body and so on. The four right efforts are the nature of diligence, so diligence is also completely collected by the wisdom of the Tathagatas. Because it is the nature of non-abandonment and non-establishment, it is collected by the wisdom of equality. The four immeasurables and the four miraculous feet are the nature of samadhi, so they are collected by the wisdom of observation, because it is said to be the place of the doors of samadhi. Others such as dhyana, liberation, samadhi, equanimity, etc., as well as samadhi, the doors of dharani, etc., other than the knowledge of the exhaustion of outflows and supernormal powers, as well as non-affliction, recollection wisdom, correct knowledge, non-forgetfulness, the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, knowledge of the path, all actions, the power of the exhaustion of outflows, etc., are also collected by the wisdom of observation. Supernormal powers are collected by the wisdom of accomplishing activities. If one wants to say that the supernormal power of the knowledge of the exhaustion of outflows and the power of the exhaustion of outflows are spoken of in the continuum of the exhaustion of outflows, then, because there is the exhaustion of outflows here, it is collected by the four wisdoms. If it is said to be Nirvana...
