Those who are inseparable from (meditative absorption) are said to practice in the formless realm. Whatever feeling is in whatever place, that is also the cause of craving for that place, meaning that the feeling of the first dhyana is the cause of craving for the place of the first dhyana. Broadly speaking, the feeling of the place up to the peak of existence is the cause of craving for the place up to the peak of existence. The feeling of pleasure is the cause of craving that is in accordance with it and inseparable from it, meaning that the feeling of pleasure is the cause of craving that is in accordance with it and craving that is inseparable from it. Suffering is the cause of craving that is not in accordance with it and is separate from it. Neither suffering nor pleasure is the cause of craving that rejoices in its state, meaning that whatever is neither suffering nor pleasure, rejoicing in that state is rejoicing in its state. Rejoicing in its state itself is craving, so it is craving that rejoices in its state, and craving that rejoices in its state is its cause. In some dhyanas, it is the cause of craving that is in accordance with it and inseparable from it, meaning that the feeling of neither suffering nor pleasure is the cause of craving that is in accordance with it and inseparable from it, which is a summary statement. In some dhyanas means at the time of entering the fourth dhyana and entering the formless absorption. In this way, it is shown that the feeling of pleasure is the cause of craving from the desire realm up to the third dhyana. Suffering exists only in the desire realm. Neither suffering nor pleasure is craving that rejoices in its state, showing that this is the cause that exists from the desire realm up to the third dhyana. Among those, there is no craving that is in accordance with it and inseparable from it. So what is it? It is only craving that rejoices in its state. Above that, it is shown that this is the cause of craving that is in accordance with it and inseparable from it. Furthermore, since the three feelings are explained in detail, it is another classification. In general, it is the continuum of aggregates.

The term "without distinction" refers to the simultaneous arising of attachment to self and the view of self in relation to all these aggregates, and "arising together and occurring together" means occurring at the same time. According to the Yogācāra school, it means that the view of self is innate and arises in a mixed manner. For example, "cultivating mindfulness, a limb of enlightenment, with loving-kindness" also means that loving-kindness and mindfulness, a limb of enlightenment, do not exist in the same mind, because they are with outflows and without outflows. Loving-kindness is with outflows and without outflows, and the limb of enlightenment is without outflows. The innate view of self also exists in wild animals, birds, and young children. Venerable friend, the sutra extensively states, "If there is no feeling," etc., which indicates that if there is feeling, then craving arises. If there is craving, then one thinks there is a self. The phrase "considering these, the Blessed One said" refers to the fact that the Blessed One spoke in this way considering those imputed views of self, which comes from the sutra in the lower realm. The sutra extensively states, "Relying on feeling born from the union of ignorance and contact," etc. Contact that is in accordance with ignorance is the union of ignorance and contact. Born from the union of ignorance and contact. Relying on feeling born from the union of ignorance and contact, craving arises. The phrase "from craving, those formations arise" means that the imputed view of self is an aspect, as explained in the sutra in the lower realm, but it does not explain happiness, etc., as in the sutra on dependent origination. This indicates that attachment to the view of self arises only from the gate of feeling, therefore it explains other actions. Furthermore, the sutra extensively states, "This is saying 'I,'" etc. That imputed view of self is established as grasping the speech of self from this sutra on dependent origination. It is not so, the sutra extensively states, "Born from the union of ignorance and contact," etc.
