Go. Name and form are also causes, because it has already been shown. This statement indicates that it has already been shown to be its cause, because it is included in name and form. Sound is also uncertain in its situation, because that is the situation of nur-nur-po and so on, or the situation of the six sense bases. There is no certainty in such situations, so it is not shown as its cause. The cause of a definite situation is shown here. What are the five? The sense bases of form, sound, smell, and touch are not solely included in the number of sentient beings. The causes of those included in the number of sentient beings are shown here. For this reason, the cause is not shown either. Furthermore, it has already been shown that touch and so on, which are included in the dharma sense base, are also causes. The sounds of these words include wisdom, mindfulness, attention, desire, and aspiration. What are they? The causes of those belonging to the dharma sense base that are included in the number of sentient beings have already been shown. How is it shown that touch and so on are causes? Just as name and form are the cause of the mind sense base in the situation of the six sense bases, similarly, touch and so on, which are associated with it and belong to the dharma sense base, are also causes. Because name and form have a difference in ability, it has already been shown before, which is from the division of the branches of consciousness. How is it? From the difference of karma, consciousness becomes different. From that, name and form become different. From that, it is the six sense bases. If the cause of the six sense bases is only name and form, then the cause of those born miraculously would become not consciousness. This statement means that if the cause is determined, and only name and form are the cause of the six sense bases, and nothing else, then the cause of the six sense bases of those born miraculously is name and form, because name and form are extremely indistinguishable. So what is it? By the cause of consciousness,
