Anga la. The six elements are earth, water, fire, wind, space, and the element of consciousness, which is a term. Here, since the element of Dharma is not mentioned, those such as touch do not exist at that time. Therefore, it is said that at that time, the six elements themselves are name and form. The meaning of "its stage" is the meaning of the stage of blood and semen. The meaning of the element of consciousness in the intermediate state of existence related to it is the meaning of the element of consciousness in the intermediate state of existence related to the elements of earth, water, fire, wind, and space in the stage of blood and semen. The meaning of "shown in order" is that this person is the sixth element, meaning that it is shown to be a person in the stage of name and form. Because it is impossible to be just the sixth element in other stages. The meaning of the six sources of touch is touch.

The reason for saying "there is no realm of consciousness" is that nowhere has it been seen that only the earth realm, etc., is the place of consciousness. Therefore, if, just as when the body and form, etc., exist, only the earth realm, etc., are indicated, so when touch, etc., exist, only the realm of consciousness is indicated, then in the state of name and form, touch, etc., do not exist and are established? If asked in this way, then the meaning of this sutra is not like this, there it is explained in detail in order. Then, why are the three realms, etc., mentioned? If this meaning is not like this, then why are the realms, etc., that is, the birthplace of touch and the mind's near-going, and the two and three aspects, mentioned? Therefore, it is said to indicate the place and the dwelling. It is said to indicate the place, and to indicate the dwelling. Because it is through relying on it that one enters. The meaning is that the birthplace of touch is indicated in the realm, because it is the entrance. This is also the meaning of the place of those who go near the mind. This "also" refers to the birthplace of touch. What is it? It is the place, it should be combined with the context. The reason for examining each realm separately in the body is to indicate selflessness, what is it? The realm is spoken. Like this, the external earth realm, etc., appear in detail, that is, after making the external earth realm, etc., and the internal ones equal, seeing that selflessness exists, this is reasonable. Therefore, the intention of speaking of the realm is established in this way. How is it? What is the internal earth realm, and what is the external earth realm, those realms are not different existences, all of those are not mine, this is not me either, this of mine is not me, if one sees with correct wisdom as it is, one will become free from desire for the earth realm. It is the same up to the space realm. Even if it is selfless, feelings of all kinds of defilements will arise, appearing in detail, even if it is selfless, relying on the six birthplaces of touch, feelings of the eighteen characteristics of the mind's near-going will arise, all kinds of defile

In order to show that "there is contact" arises, the six sources are also mentioned. The eighteen mental activities are also mentioned, which is to show that there is no difference in the different stages of this person. Therefore, initially in the womb, the name and form of the five aggregates, in the soft state and so on, this is established. As it is said, because it is the cause of manifestation and complete perfection, it is reasonable as it should be. It is said that in the stage of name and form itself, there are the two sources of body and mind. The so-called "all six are the collection of two" means that all the causes of the six sources are also the collection of name and form. How to understand it? Because the body and mind are seen to follow each other. The result follows the cause, and the body and mind also appear to follow each other. Therefore, the body is the cause of the mind, and the mind is also the cause of the body, which is established and certain. The form of the name and form stage is also the cause of the mind in the six source stage, and the name is the cause of the eye and so on. The so-called "stages of fear and sorrow and joy, disease and old age, etc." means that in the stages of fear and sorrow and joy, the body follows the mind. When afraid, the body trembles and stiffens. When weakened by sorrow, the body becomes weak. When joyful, there is happiness and the eyes are like blooming flowers. In the stages of disease and old age, the mind follows the body. When afflicted by disease, the mind becomes disturbed. When old, memory decreases and wisdom weakens. The word "etc." should also include stages such as fatigue and stages such as childhood. Then, why are the causes of the outer six sources not shown here? Because that does not exist as different limbs. The so-called "that does not exist as different limbs," where "that" refers to the outer six sources, from form and so on up to the dharma source. The so-called "in the first moment of name and form there is also that," means that because there are the outer six sources.
