Everything, or all such as the eyes, is not called the body because of the meaning of accumulation. In order to differentiate, the names of the distinctions are shown from "the source of the eye" to "the source of the tongue." Therefore, it is also differentiated. It is also the name of the body, and that which differentiates by itself is called the source of the body. When the feeling of the body is shown, at that time the five, such as the eyes, are also called the body. Why? Because for this reason, it is also said, "Each one is accumulated by minute particles." The eyes and so on appear as actions, and the body is spoken of in terms of accumulation because it is a common word. Because it dwells in the body itself, it is said that all five are called the body, and it is related to this. Abiding is assumed to be close to abiding. For the same reason, there are also cases where abiding is established on abiding. It is said, "The chair speaks" and "The mountain drips water," just as when a person is not sitting on a chair, but is close to the chair and says, "The chair speaks." The water on the mountain is close to the mountain and says, "The mountain drips water," but in reality, it is not the mountain that is dripping water. With a loving heart, one is devoted to one side. Here, too, the living beings dwelling on one side are indicated by the sound of one side, because love is focused on sentient beings. The five sources have been shown. Sixth, the source of mind will be discussed. In the aggregate of the source of mind, what is the aggregate of consciousness? This is the characteristic of the six aggregates of consciousness. In the realm, what is the realm of mind? It is the established realm of consciousness and the six realms of consciousness. In this way, the characteristics of the six consciousnesses are shown as the source of mind. If asked, what else is the realm of mind besides these? This is a synonym for "other than those six realms of consciousness." There is nothing else, just those themselves, as it is said in detail: "The six have just passed, whatever consciousness exists." This shows the place of the sixth consciousness.

That which is called the basis of consciousness, such as the eye, is the five, such as the eye, in order. The basis of the sixth, the consciousness of the mind, is not only reached by the six aggregates of consciousness. In order to show its basis, it is established that the previous five that have just ceased are the realm of the mind. As it is said in the Abhidharmakośa: "The six places are for the sake of accomplishment, and the eighteen realms are remembered." Thus it is taught. Thus it is determined. However, at the time of name and form, if there are no six entrances, it means those who are destined to die in the womb in the state of name and form. The first of all six entrances must be determined to have name and form as the cause. That is to say, for those who are born miraculously, the first of the six entrances is not caused by name and form. How can it be said that it is all? This is said in terms of the complete order of birth. The first means the first moment. The second moment, etc., are the six entrances because the six entrances are the cause. Are all names and forms not the cause of the six entrances? It should be combined with the text of determination. This shows that the name and form of those who are destined to die in the state of name and form are not the cause of the six entrances. Like rain from clouds, etc., like all rain, it is certain that clouds are the cause, but not all clouds are the cause of rain. All fruits are caused by flowers, that is, the fruits produced from flowers, but not all flowers are the cause of fruits. All tall ones are certainly caused by short ones, that is, the tall ones contained in the womb are certainly caused by the short ones contained in the womb. All short ones are not the cause of tall ones, and so on. How are there six entrances with that as the cause?

The so-called "earth" is because of the causes of name and form, the four sense bases are said to be caused by this. It must be said that the two sense bases of body and mind exist in the stage of name and form itself. Because it is the cause of manifestation and completion, it is said "how to combine appropriately", meaning how to combine appropriately. If you ask "how to combine?" Because the eye and so on are the cause of manifestation, and the two sense bases of body and mind are the cause of completion. For the time being, let's not say that the cause of manifestation of the eye and so on is name and form, which is established, because the eye and so on did not exist before. If you ask "how are the sense bases of body and mind the cause of completion?" Therefore, it is said in detail "in the stage where the eye and so on appear." "Dwelling in the four and being complete" means that the eye and so on dwell in the sense base of the body, which is a concluding remark. The eye and so on depend on the great elements of the body's side, not on the sense base of the body, because what is transformed from the great elements does not depend on what is transformed from the great elements, then what is it? It depends on the great elements, if you ask "how to say that the four depend on it?" Therefore, it is said "because it is related to it and enters", meaning that the eye and so on are related to the sense base of the body and enter, which is the meaning to be grasped. Because if the sense base of the body completely disappears, the eye and so on have no place to dwell. The sense base of mind is complete, because the place is complete. It means that the eye and so on are the place of the sense base of mind. They are also complete at that time. The sense base of mind is also complete only when the place is complete, because it is all. Precisely because of this, it is said "the place of the sense base of mind, which is included by the six consciousnesses, is complete at that time." If it is not shown in this way, then what appears in detail is how not to
