Therefore, the statement "In the period of the earth, only rebirth manifests" is because all the phenomena that arise together with the consciousness of connection are included in rebirth. At that time, due to the cause of action, whose seed is the consciousness of connection? Therefore, it is said that the seed of consciousness grows from the field of rebirth. The consciousness of the previous existence, with ignorance as the cause, with action as the cause, grasps the substance of the cause of the sprout of name and form, and through the continuity of the intermediate existence, grows in the field of rebirth, which is reasonable. Therefore, ignorance is the cause of action, and the consciousness blessed by it is the cause of action, and so on. By doing so, it is reasonable that the consciousness mentioned in other sutras is the seed. By doing so, as I have explained in detail before, ignorance is the cause of action. How is it explained in other sutras that consciousness is the seed? Ananda, if there is no action that is fully in accordance with desire, can the existence of desire be achieved anywhere? Venerable, no. Ananda, however, action is the field, craving is the moisture, consciousness is the seed, and beings with the darkness of ignorance, those who are blinded by ignorance, like this, in the existence of desire, consciousness dwells in the inferior mind. Ananda, if there is no action that is fully in accordance with form, can the existence of form be achieved anywhere? Venerable, no. Ananda, however, action and field, etc., appear extensively, like this, from the existence of form to the intermediate mind, consciousness dwells. Ananda, if there is no action that is fully in accordance with formlessness, can the existence of formlessness be achieved anywhere? Venerable, no. Ananda, however, action is the field, etc., appear extensively, like this, in the existence of formlessness, consciousness

It is said to be established as the ultimate place. However, some say that it comes from the non-destruction of its cause, because it is the cause of actions such as merit, which is the meaning of this. Some say that it comes from non-destruction, saying that it is revered by all noble ones. Some say that it comes from accumulation, saying that it is the Mahasanghika. Other non-mind-associated dharmas are said to be conditioned phenomena not included in form, mind, and mind-born phenomena, and are established as non-mind-associated because they are not equally associated with mind, in order to dispel doubts. That which follows until the fruit is produced is the other non-mind-associated dharma. That which is done by it, that is closely taken, it is said that the non-destruction and accumulation done by action, action closely takes it, this is the meaning of this. Or, the fruit produced by non-destruction and accumulation, action closely takes it. Those who closely take actions are those who closely take actions, because the consciousness that connects rebirth due to the cause of action is the nature of the cause that closely takes it. For example, thieves burn cities, etc., it is said that the fire accomplished by thieves, like thieves, closely takes it, or those who are burned by the fire accomplished by thieves, thieves burn cities, thus closely taking it to thieves. With grass ripening rice ears, etc., it is said that the fire born from grass, grass is closely taken, or those who are made by the fire born from grass, with grass ripening rice ears, thus those who are made by grasses, closely take it to the seedlings. Noble ones are happy to see. It is said that noble ones seeing is not only happiness, but because it is the nature of happiness, it is established as happiness. Their contradiction with the Sutra Pitaka is as it abides, saying what is it? Thus, in the branch of consciousness, what is consciousness? It is said that the six aggregates of consciousness, but only consciousness connects rebirth, so how is it the consciousness of

The so-called cause of the arising of the six places is consciousness. The so-called "attainment, etc., are not" refers to attainment and non-attainment, homogeneity, non-ideation, the state of non-ideation, the cessation, and the nature of the life faculty, etc. Do they arise dependent on contact? Even without contact, cessation, etc., arise from attainment. Therefore, formations that are not associated with mind are also not substantially existent, but are established on other states of substantially existent forms, etc. The so-called "other states of substantially existent forms, etc." refers to other states of form, mind, and mental factors, which is a comprehensive statement, because it has been explained in detail that non-associated and non-compounded things are not substantially existent. For example, what is meant by capacity, combination, separation, the other shore, this shore, distance, proximity, etc.? It means that they are established on other states of form, etc. That is, it is established on the state of things that are close to the cause of producing the result, and it is called capacity. In the state where the continuum of form arises continuously, it is called combination. Continuously arising is called combination. In the state of arising separately, it is called separation. In the state where mind and mental factors arise together, it is also established as combination, because they possess the same time, basis, and object. The other shore and this shore are also established on the state of having many or few forms in between. From the object of sight, the one with many forms in between is called the other shore, and the one with few forms in between is called this shore. Similarly, even if time and nature, etc., are different, they are called the other shore and this shore on different continuums. Similarly, attainment, etc., are also established on other states of form, etc. How are they established? For the time being, attainment is established on the state where the seeds of virtuous dharmas, etc., have not deteriorated, the state where the power of their arising has not been lost, and the state of manifestation. Non-attainment refers to the state where its seeds are completely
