There is nothing whatsoever that turns away from things and exists as a substance. Whether it turns away or not. The things that are said to be seeds, etc., are manifestly accomplished from many different prior causes. For example, the result is accomplished by relying on conditions. What is the body? What is the action? Why is it called the body? It appears extensively. Likewise, until the actions of the mind, how is it that what is the body? Why is it called the body? What is called action? Likewise, what is speech? Why is it called speech? And what is the action of speech? What is the action of mind? Why is it called the action of mind? And what is the action of mind? Therefore, these should be understood from the perspective of accomplishment. How are the body, etc., also shown from the accomplishment of action? The body is the body with the senses, a particular combination of the elements and their derivatives. It is called the body in the sense of accumulation, because it is an accumulation of fine particles of the elements and their derivatives. Some say that it is in the sense of disparagement, because it is the source of impure substances. If that is the case, then the body of the gods would not be a body. In the manner of a definitive term, the agent who manifestly fabricates with the mind is action, and the action that protects the body is called the action of the body. The mind is also of three types: extreme agitation, determination, and agitation. By what does one sustain the body, that is the factor that causes its continuation to arise in another place, because it is the factor that accomplishes wind. That is called the action of the body, because the intermediate words are not manifest, like the power of ghee and the particles of wind. Regarding the path of action, it is thought that there are three types of action: killing, taking what is not given, and sexual misconduct. Then, how should these be expressed for the mind? Because of determination, extreme killing, stealing, and sexual misconduct, and the continuation of the body agitated by that is caused by that, it is called caused by that. For example, a thief burns a village, or grass discolors rice. How is it that the mind is the path of action?
