These will be accomplished. How is that? From this, there is also the condition of simultaneous arising, like the touch of feeling. There is also what arises earlier, like the existence of birth. It will not be accomplished in a sutra like the monkey, because it only shows the condition of simultaneous arising. The reason for saying this is that the sutra says that relying on the touch that can experience happiness, a feeling of happiness arises. Those two refutations that are also spoken without the first sentence will be accomplished, those are not the meaning. The so-called first sentence is what is said, "This being, that arises." Merely "This arising, that arises" can accomplish the refutation of causelessness and the assertion of a permanent cause. Because of not abandoning, and because of the meaning of arising from impermanent causes, two words are spoken. The extensive explanation is that because of arising from the condition of not abandoning ignorance and so on, the first sentence "This being, that arises" is spoken. Because it arises only from impermanence, the second sentence "This arising, that arises" is spoken. The meaning of the sutra is that although it arises from this meaning of impermanence, it is also from not abandoning, not from everything. As the sutra extensively says, "Because of not abandoning subtle increase, and because of abiding closely on individual objects." In terms of the limb of existence, it shows not abandoning. However, showing that not abandoning defiled virtue, and the undeclared and unobscured, and the desire and attachment focused on that, is the cause of equal share, is "This being, that arises." If you ask how it appears that it shows not abandoning, because therefore "being" refers to not abandoning, it is extensively said that way. The so-called "having desire and aspiration" is a synonym for "not abandoning." The so-called "nature arising from an unmoving cause" refers to the nature arising from a cause without action and without activity, that is its meaning. From this, because it is free from movement, it is unmoving. Because it is unmoving, and the cause is also that, it is an unmoving cause.

That which arises from an unwavering cause is the nature of this dependent arising that arises from an unwavering cause. What is that? It is the nature that arises from an unwavering cause. The nature that arises from an impermanent cause and the nature that arises from a potent cause are also the same. It is said that merely existing demonstrates being a cause, because it is said, "This arising because of this existing." Like this, the causes are not suppressed by wavering, from that the result will arise, like a lodestone on iron, and although it is not self-nature, it is like a rare gold abrasive. If there is no rare gold abrasive, then gold will not become precious and special. However, if it exists, it will arise from a state of not having arisen. Because the preceding and subsequent limbs are determined, it is shown to be a cause, which is called "because the preceding and subsequent limbs are determined." Because it is both preceding and subsequent, it is preceding and subsequent. Those themselves are limbs, so they are preceding and subsequent limbs. The determination of those two, the preceding and subsequent limbs, is determined. Because the preceding and subsequent limbs are determined, it is shown that ignorance and so on are causes. The preceding limb itself is the cause of the subsequent limb, but the subsequent limb is not the cause of the preceding limb. In order to generate what and what, whatever has the ability to generate, arises from that and that, but not from what has no ability, so it is the nature that arises from a potent cause. The rest should also be understood in the same way, what does this mean? For example, action is the cause of consciousness, action is the cause of this. That is what is called "action is the cause of consciousness." Similarly, birth is the cause of this, that is like this, birth is the cause of aging and death. In order to eliminate other understandings of the abbreviation of words. The meaning of cause is only those previously shown, what does this mean? The meaning of those causes is like this, "This arising because of this existing, this arising because of this being born." The etymology is, because it comes from that cause, it is a cause, that is to say, because it must be accomplished from this, it is a definite accomplishment, for the cause, with the difference of action and close accomplishment, the meaning of the realm is completely accomplished, so it is very clear.

It is a term called "arising." Therefore, it is said to be a term called "completely arising." Some others say that it is a cause because it is a causative factor. What is a causative factor? For the fruit that is born, it is the essence of its own cause, or it is the cause of its own fruit, so it is a cause. What is the cause? This is doubting the cause. This is wanting to speak of the main cause. It is not that ignorance and so on do not act as immediate causes and objective causes for actions and so on. Why is it said to be a cause? Broadly speaking, because of the cause of ignorance, from action to the cause of birth, to old age and death, why is it said to be a cause? Action is the cause of ignorance. If it is not said that ignorance is the agent, old age and death are the cause of the root arising of ignorance, birth is the agent, and birth is fourfold? Even if any one of them is said, it will be refuted. That is to say, even if cause, agent, and root are mentioned, there will be this refutation: why say cause, and not agent and root? In the context of dependent origination, it is explained that what arises in dependence on what, the cause of that is that. That is to say, this is done for the sake of dependent origination. Therefore, in this way, it is certain that the fruit arises from this, so it is explained that that is the cause of that. In this way, it is established because it is explained according to the situation. Others say that if the cause is mentioned, one will not cling to the immediate cause and so on. That is to say, if the immediate cause, the objective cause, and the dominant cause are mentioned, the limbs of ignorance and so on, such as actions, will change. If the immediate cause, the objective cause, and the dominant cause are possible, the word "cause" generally indicates all four kinds of causes. Therefore, what fault is there in mentioning the root and the agent? Because the two words "root" and "agent" are pervaded by cause. The word "cause" is also seen in other places, that is to say, it shows that the scope of cause is not limited to individual cases. Correct view
