Manifestation and excellent birth are also the same. So, what is the cause of extreme birth? Birth is not in the latter. Then what is it? It is in the former. If it is said that because of that cause, it is extreme birth, then this is showing that it has intention, so there is no fault. Or, birth is also in the latter, from where is it said? It is said from the existence of karma, so there is no fault. The reason it is said to be the root is because the existence is the synonym of the root. From the Sutra of Differentiating the Initial Differences, it is also widely said, 'By what order is birth, etc.,' which is by birth and extreme birth, etc. What is meant by 'What is birth' is the aggregates, realms, and sources, etc., which are widely said to be the individual attainment of aggregates. What is meant by 'How is birth' is explained by the two words 'the manifestation of aggregates' and 'the excellent birth of the life force.' Regarding what is said, 'By what order is birth,' what shows the order is these: First is the birth of sowing seeds, which is sowing the seed of consciousness in the viscous substance of blood and semen. After that is 'the birth of its growth,' which is extreme birth, what is called the intermediate birth is extreme birth, except for the moment of connecting the continuum, it is up to the six sources. After that is 'the attached birth,' which is the transfer, which is the birth from the womb. After that is 'the birth of its growth,' which is manifestation, what is called manifestation is manifestation, because manifestation is manifestation, starting from the state of childhood, until the ability to enjoy and speak is not obtained. The birth of obtaining the ability to enjoy and speak after growth is excellent birth, which is from what causes can one enjoy and speak. Regarding what is said, 'What is birth,' if one asks, 'What is birth again,' then whatever is birth is birth. Therefore, aggregates, realms, and sources are birth, but self is not.

Saying "yes," asking "what is it?", the answer is to apply the word "birth." Asking "why?", the answer is because of thinking 'I am not born.' Therefore, saying 'because the aggregates etc. increase,' it means the initial sowing of birth etc., elaborately speaking of the order. Based on what is said as 'how is it born?', elaborately saying 'by the power of impermanence and life force' etc., impermanence itself is also expressed by the word 'the aggregates etc. manifest.' 'By the power of life force,' it is expressed by the word 'life force is fully produced.' Saying 'because it is the nature of abiding in measurable time, therefore impermanence itself is birth,' it means 'I am not permanent, the aggregates manifest,' this shows impermanence. 'Newly arising, because it is manifested,' this shows arising from what has not arisen before. 'Life force is fully produced,' this also, because it is the nature of abiding in measurable time, therefore shows the nature of arising from arising and the impermanence of complete destruction. 'Saying it like that,' refers to starting from 'in what order is birth?' to 'impermanence itself is birth,' sequentially speaking of the ten names of birth. For example, from 'the birth of sowing is birth' to 'increasing, obtaining enjoyment, name, ability is production.' 'Obtaining individual aggregates, obtaining individual elements, obtaining individual sources,' this separately explains that aggregates, elements, and sources are birth. 'Aggregates manifest, life force is fully produced,' this clearly explains that impermanence itself is birth. 'When three conditions come together, a fetus will form in the mother's womb,' the mother is suitable, possessing the right time, both parents having intercourse, plus a Gandharva being near, these three are those conditions. The karma that has become existence is

"Not becoming the cause and condition of the fruit of the same kind" means not becoming the condition of the similar fruit of the continuum of the same fate, because only the condition of craving is birth, and not others. What is the object of mind and the object condition arising from mind? Answer: It is not the karma that becomes existence, it should be combined with the context. Among them, "object" refers to the word that is conditioned by the karma that becomes existence. If it is uncertain, then what is said becomes meaningless, meaning that even if it is for determining the cause, all causes must be stated. If the fruit is determined, all fruits must also be stated. However, it is neither for determining the cause nor for determining the fruit. Saying "the condition of existence is birth" becomes meaningless. It will not become meaningless, because it is to explain the main condition. It means that even if it is said in order to determine the cause, it is not necessary to state all the causes, because it is for determining the main condition. Because without it, birth is impossible. It means that there is no existence. Even if two places are gathered, there will be no food, without it, it should be combined with the context. Therefore, existence itself is the main condition, not food. Even without the three places, it can be born from warmth and moisture, as well as transformation, and how suitable and appropriate in the formless realm, birth exists. Born from warmth and moisture, as well as transformation, even without two places, birth exists, the mother is possible, having the time, and the parents are in union, even without these two gatherings, birth exists. In the formless realm, even without the three places, birth exists, because there is no rule of parents there, and there is no intermediate existence. Therefore, existence itself is established as the main condition. Here it is shown that the general meaning of birth is twelve kinds, as it is established the number of sentient beings, as it is said.
