Because there is the ability to facilitate manifestation, it is said that grasping is the cause of becoming. As for the detailed explanation of "which of those who are free from desire will be born in the lower realms," it refers to those who, having been born in the upper realms and are free from desire, at the time of death, if they are born in the lower realms, then at the time of their death, desires and greed lower than the time of death will not arise universally, because they are already free from desire. The so-called "desires and greed for the lower realms," the "for" in it refers to the lower realms. If (desires and greed) have not manifested, then how can it be consistent with the future life that is drawn by karma and experienced many times in the lower realms? Because at the time of death, one can obtain the opportunity for those habitual tendencies to enter. That is to say, one can obtain the opportunity for the habitual tendencies of the desires and greed of those in the lower realms to enter. Just as the opportunity to enter is obtained, the habitual tendencies of karma can also facilitate the future life. In this way, obtaining the entry of the habitual tendencies of the desires and greed of those in the lower realms is grasping, and it can cause the habitual tendencies of karma to be in a state of becoming. As for the detailed explanation of "those who have not abandoned desire, if they see the truth," it refers to those who have seen the truth but have not abandoned desire, such as stream-enterers or once-returners, although they have not abandoned the desires and greed in the desire realm and belong to the desire realm, they will not be born in the evil realms. Is it because they have no grasping? Why are they not born in the evil realms? This is because, although as stated in the sutras, previous karma will completely grasp its own fruition, but from the difference of the complete transformation of habitual tendencies, from "why not desire" to "just like that," these have been explained in detail. Therefore, it is said that they are not in accordance with the evil realms. In order to explain how they are not in accordance, it is said, "because they have abandoned the desires and greed to be abandoned by seeing." That is to say, if one sees the truth, one abandons the desires and greed to be abandoned by seeing, therefore they are not in accordance with the evil realms, because they have already transformed wrong views. Besides that, there is also "because they will destroy later," which refers to through cultivation.

It should be abandoned. It is not that the desire, attachment, evil destinies, and conformity that should be abandoned by cultivation have been abandoned, but they are also universally present in seeing the truth. Because wrong views increase, these can only be abandoned by seeing the truth. It is said that one will not be devoured by demons at the time of death, which means that what was previously uncertain, the actions associated with taking and abandoning at the time of death will not be devoured by demons, it is possible. If it is not like this, it is also impossible to exist. What is certain about karma is that it was also before the time, which means that at that time it was possible that it would not be devoured by demons. The uninterrupted actions that will be experienced after birth, etc., this "etc." refers to other actions that will be experienced after birth in the heavens, etc., besides the uninterrupted actions. The ripening of the actions of previous lives appears extensively, which means that the actions already exist at that time, but they will not be realized immediately, because they are related to the remnants of similar fates that are similar to the ripening of the actions of previous lives. When is the existence of birth, there is no turning back before this, which means that before this, all actions exist. Why is existence not established before the intermediate state of existence has not been realized? Therefore, the sutras say in detail that there are two kinds of existence. Putting these two together and calling it existence, this refers to the existence of tending and the existence of entering, and the combination of the two is an obvious combination. So, what is the cause of the existence in the intermediate state? This means that it is not held by the previous existence, nor is it held by the existence of death. Therefore, it is necessary to explain its cause. Therefore, it is said that the cause is the existence of tending. So, if this is the case, will all actions exist along with it during the existence of the intermediate state? Therefore, it is said that the existence of karma is the main thing, and the ripening is not the main thing. This "also" is
