It is like the eyes seeing forms, the ears hearing sounds, and so on. The reason for establishing validity is that all phenomena are impermanent, or interdependent arising, or suffering, or emptiness, or selflessness. These three valid cognitions are closely examined through the words of reliable teachings, as well as direct perception and inference, and they establish impermanence and so on. The reason for the nature of phenomena is: Why is the world in such a state? Why is the characteristic of earth solidity? From here, apply it to all things. If you ask why it is so, it is because of the nature of phenomena. It is the nature of those phenomena, and the essence of those phenomena is such, so the nature of phenomena is the only reason. Such reasons are known and understood through proper attention, therefore, the so-called "proper" is the word for reason, and the same applies to the following. Proper means that the nature of phenomena is not inverted, or in the case of the thirty-two proper attentions, the explanation of the word "proper." The door is proper, because countless qualities such as meditation, supernormal powers, strength, fearlessness, etc., are the door to accomplishment. Or, it is because one understands the vast and extensive Dharma through it. The mouth refers to what is relied upon, because one relies on proper attention to understand subtle and profound phenomena. Cause and condition refer to proper attention, because they are the cause and condition of the Buddha's teachings. The so-called non-obstruction, if causes and conditions that do not conform to proper attention cause it to disappear, that is obstruction. Because of the power of the white wisdom Dharma arising from proper attention, it will not be destroyed by causes and conditions that do not conform to itself, therefore it is called the word of non-obstruction. Non-contradiction is because one understands how the nature of phenomena exists without contradicting it. All things of proper attention are understood as selfless, and there is no attachment or hatred towards anything, therefore it is called the word of equanimity. It does not abide in the alaya consciousness.

Therefore, it is called the word of non-reliance. Non-abiding means not abiding in the two things just mentioned. Or, because there is no attachment to the things of sentient beings, it is without reliance. Because there is no attachment to the reality of the Dharma, it is non-reliance. Because it does not abide in the place of the Alaya consciousness, it is called non-abiding. Immovable means that the self-nature does not change, and the essence of suchness is inherently pure, and the self-nature will never change at any time. That which is called immovable, becoming one with the unfavorable side is movement, suchness abandons the unfavorable side, because it does not become the Dharma of the unfavorable side such as clinging to impermanence as permanence, it is called immovable. Or because it cannot be moved by the wind of all defilements such as greed and the four inversions, it is called immovable, and because it cannot be moved by the wind of manifest attachment to the aggregates, realms, and sources, it is called immovable. Because it does not cling to the self-nature of the completely imputed as existent, it is without addition. Because it does not fall into the extremes of permanence and annihilation, it is equality. The various distinctions of forms, sounds, etc. are equality, because suchness understands that all dharmas are of an inexpressible nature, so there is no such distinction, therefore it is without inequality. As the fruit is obtained as it is practiced, because it is not deceiving, it is the word of truth. It is the realm of the noble ones, or because it does not contradict the three valid cognitions, it is the correct word. It is not changed by the eight worldly dharmas, or because suchness understands the ultimate truth of the self-nature of all dharmas, which is free from arising and ceasing, it is also an unchanging word. Dispelling means that it needs to be purified and abandoned by the antidote Dharma, suchness itself is the antidote to purify all other defiled dharmas, because it does not need to be purified and abandoned by any other Dharma, so it is the word of no dispelling. Because the worldly path and the transcendental path, and the Mahayana path above the two, have abandoned the faults that need to be abandoned, so it is peaceful and extremely peaceful, and
