The practice of entering is thirty-two, and so on, it is said. Among them, Practice refers to the Noble Path and Nirvana. Thinking and meditating in accordance with this is called proper attention. Proper attention can enter the meaning of Suchness, which is called entering proper attention. Thus, entering the meaning is also to determine the Dharma with the wisdom of thought, and then to become familiar with it with the wisdom of practice, thereby realizing its meaning. Therefore, it should be known that this is the wisdom of thought and practice. Alternatively, this practice refers to the Noble Path and Nirvana, or reasoning such as direct perception and inference, or the instructions of Khenpos and Acharyas who unerringly point out the way. Thinking without contradicting this is called proper attention. Because of entering proper attention, it is entering proper attention. Entering means abiding in proper attention, or those who practice proper attention realize the nature and distinctions. The place of calm abiding is called the place of calm abiding. Because calm abiding itself is the place, it is the place of calm abiding. Entering calm abiding is to realize the nature of calm abiding, or to abide in that samadhi. Vipassana can completely distinguish the self and general characteristics of conditioned and unconditioned dharmas, so it is called Vipassana discernment. After such discernment, one can realize the meaning of Suchness, so it is also called entering. Calm abiding and Vipassana themselves are also said to enter the pliancy of mind, because they can freely abide in the object of focus, so they are calm abiding and Vipassana. Entering the two, physical solitude and mental solitude, shows the combination with the practice of calm abiding and Vipassana. If one abides in a place corresponding to abandonment, such as roads, caves and forests, without the objects of attachment such as traveling women and beautiful things, and without the thoughts such as desire for sensual pleasures, then one can enter the place and Vipassana. Dependent origination is divided into two types, external and internal differences, which have already been said before.

Entering "is" refers to understanding the nature of those things, which is a definition. Conforming to the truth means properly attending to the four noble truths. Alternatively, it means being disgusted with the three realms, delighting in being free from the aggregates of afflictions, single-mindedly heading towards Nirvana, and being devoted to practicing the noble path. These are the causes for understanding the four truths, so it is called conforming to the truth. Or, the four truths are to be understood through the path of seeing, so what corresponds to this is the four parts of the decisive division. Because one enters through the Dharma that conforms to the truth, it is also called entering conformity to the truth, which means that one understands its sole meaning through that Dharma. Alternatively, it can also be explained as entering in order to understand conformity to the truth. The two terms, non-cessation and non-permanence, indicate the correct understanding of the meaning of dependent origination. If one understands that internal and external dependent origination relies on causes and conditions, arises momentarily, continues uninterruptedly, and that they themselves are also impermanent, then it is called entering non-cessation and non-permanence. To clearly show that meaning, it is said to enter causes and conditions. Ignorance and seeds are like causes, and earth and water are like conditions, these should be understood. The names of "I" and so on, which are fabricated as self by the non-Buddhists, have already been mentioned before. Because one understands that those do not exist, it is called entering non-self, up to the non-existence of a person. No light, no going, and no staying, means no birth, no cessation, and no abiding. Understanding in this way is called entering. Entering non-transfer and non-wasting of cause and effect means that from here to there, not even a particle of Dharma is transferred, and one should know that the results of virtuous and non-virtuous actions will not be wasted. Entering familiarity with emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, and so on, from here onwards, shows that the path of non-abiding Nirvana is held by wisdom and compassion, and even if one abides in Samsara, one uses wisdom to
