We should abandon afflictions and their latent tendencies. To pacify these afflictions, this combination should be made. The desire to turn the wheel of Dharma is to have the intention to teach the Four Noble Truths and so forth after attaining complete enlightenment. The so-called not turning the wheel of Dharma is because all phenomena are inexpressible, so the Four Noble Truths and so forth cannot be taught. The so-called not not turning the wheel of Dharma is that although it is inexpressible, it is expressed only with names and symbols as a means to realize it. The collection of limbs of enlightenment is calm abiding and insight. To manifest the intention of meditating with one-pointed mind on these two is to manifest non-distraction. The suffering of afflictions and near afflictions, such as desire, etc., they themselves cause suffering to the mind stream. Whose realm are these? It is said in the scriptures that they are known by the wisdom of the Tathagata. Among all afflictions and near afflictions, some are associated with the mind, and some are not associated with the mind. Among these afflictions, some are unconscious, and some are conscious. To eliminate these afflictions, this combination should be made. The so-called "certain" refers to the direct realization of the complete purity of the Dharmadhatu on the first ground, because it is impossible to change from that. The so-called "corresponding to it" refers to the generation of wisdom in the grounds of faith and conduct, which corresponds to the realization of the first ground. In short, in order to fully mature sentient beings, to fully mature the Buddha's Dharma, and to fully purify the Buddha's land, to generate aspirations and hopes with characteristics in advance should be understood as skillful means. As for not clinging to the nature of these, it should be understood as wisdom. Although this is the case, by the power of a highly trained mind, when a Bodhisattva enters into meditative equipoise, although he uses both skillful means and wisdom at the same time, if he is controlled by skillful means, he only focuses on characteristics; or if he is controlled by wisdom and separated from skillful means, then merely practicing without characteristics is not enough. Because simultaneously and perfectly using both is skillful means and wis

It is called the meditation of the union of wisdom. That all demons cannot find an opportunity in it means that the bodhisattva who dwells in the perfection of meditation, as soon as it is taught, cannot be obstructed by the demons, nor is he subject to the power of the demons. It is also said that the vessel of all the Buddha's teachings is near at hand, which means that it becomes the vessel of all the scriptures. Thus, these samadhis are infinite and immeasurable. That is to say, the samadhis mentioned above by name, and other samadhis like them, are also infinite, and it is impossible to measure how many there are. "Gone to the other shore of hundreds of thousands of kotis of meditations" means that the samadhi of the bodhisattvas who dwell in the perfection of meditation, as mentioned above, is infinite and immeasurable, and is perfectly realized. The inexhaustible meditation has been explained. A bodhisattva who dwells in inexhaustible wisdom is called a non-regressing bodhisattva in the Dharma. To show this, the venerable Sharakaati's son, the wisdom of the bodhisattvas, is also inexhaustible, and so on. That inexhaustibility is also shown in the following text: "As many as the minds and actions of all sentient beings are, so are the actions of wisdom and knowledge." Because the minds and actions of all sentient beings are like the sky, without end, they cannot be known to be exhausted. Moreover, it is called inexhaustible wisdom because it arises from the cause of great compassion, is practiced for the sake of all sentient beings, is directed towards the object of infinite knowable things, and is held by non-conceptual wisdom. That inexhaustible wisdom is also viewed from seven aspects: the aspect of wisdom, entry, definitive word, fruit, nature, object, and actions. Among them, the aspect is shown by the eighty-four aspects of hearing, the entry is shown by the thirty-one entries of proper attention, and the definitive word is the order of words such as the word of reason.
