It is called entering. With wisdom, not clinging to the mind of enlightenment and sentient beings, etc., the conduct of the Bodhisattva is perfected, experience is gained, and the nature of reality beyond names and concepts, which cannot be spoken of, etc., is realized as the ultimate truth, this is called abiding in the mind. In order to perfect that inexhaustible diligence of mind, etc., it is to show by what means Bodhisattvas enter in order to perfect those diligences of mind. What is called being free from all entrances and abidings, and all characteristics, means abiding in all entrances and all abidings, and also being completely separated from the nature of grasping and being grasped, and from all the characteristics of the actions of body, speech, and mind. Then, does one not also do the work of accomplishing roots of virtue and benefiting sentient beings, etc.? In response, it is said in the sutra that one enters into all aspects of action, which means entering into the complete maturation of sentient beings and the purification of Buddha-fields, etc., through the gates of body, speech, and mind. What is called also abiding in the activity of wisdom is shown by what is the cause of virtue, etc., by the power of which wisdom one neither abandons the conditioned nor falls into the unconditioned, this is called the activity of wisdom. Among them, not abandoning the cause of virtue and the cause of great compassion for all sentient beings into the conditioned is the activity of wisdom that does not abandon the conditioned, because these two are the cause of combining the conditioned in the three realms. The wisdom of the Buddha is non-discriminating wisdom, and because it does not abide in just that, it is said that it does not fall into the unconditioned. The inexhaustible diligence has been explained. A Bodhisattva who abides in inexhaustible meditation is called a Bodhisattva who does not deviate from the Dharma. In order to explain this, the venerable Sharadvatiputra said that the inexhaustible perfection of meditation of the Bodhisattvas has sixteen aspects, and so on. The inexhaustible meditation is also explained in five aspects, namely, abiding in the purity of the distinctions of the aspects of meditation, and thinking

It is taught by abiding in the fruit of thorough familiarization, and because it becomes the antidote to countless opposing factors, it possesses immeasurable antidotes, and it abides in distinct objects with definite words, and it abandons attending to opposing factors, and it abides in completely pure antidotes. Among these, the meditation of Bodhisattvas surpasses worldly meditation and samadhi, etc., and the meditation of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, because those are suppressed, and because it possesses countless samadhis such as the "Sun Lamp," it is inexhaustible. Among these, in terms of the distinction of the aspects of meditation abiding in complete purity, the venerable Sharadvatiputra said: The inexhaustible perfection of meditation of Bodhisattvas has sixteen aspects, etc. The distinction of the aspects of meditation abiding in complete purity is also shown in twelve aspects: the distinction of difficult practices, and direct knowledge, and the distinction of the great magical power of pure mastery, and the distinction of the mastery of obtaining mastery over the mind being completely pure, and the distinction of mastery over entering, abiding, and arising, and the distinction of the mastery of surpassing even the transcendent, and the distinction of the mastery of non-regression, and the distinction of the mastery of omniscience and freedom from afflictions, and the distinction of completely pure view because of being separated from clinging to beings and dharmas, and by benefiting sentient beings in all aspects, therefore benefiting the distinction of complete purity, the distinction of the mastery of completely pure mastery over not cutting off the lineage of the Three Jewels, and the distinction of complete purity without degeneration, and abiding in the distinction of wisdom, and possessing the great essence of ultimate perfection. Among these, the distinction of difficult practices is shown by the first four verses of the sutra, and the remaining ones are shown by that verse of the sutra. The meditation of the Tathagata is free from all faults, and in order to completely perfect it, the meditation of Bodhisattvas is not attached to the four worldly meditations and the limbs of the four samadhis, such as investigation and analysis.
