That is called "Pala." After a Bodhisattva attains the first ground, from that ground up to the tenth ground, one is certain about the distinction of completely training the grounds because one does not tire of completely seeking and inquiring about the unfavorable aspects and antidotes, etc., from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and virtuous friends. Thus, because one does not tire of effort, it is called "the superior intention of certainty." Abandoning the branches of arrogance such as ornaments and song and dance, holding the appearance of renunciation such as shaving hair and beard, and perfecting the assembly of ascetic practices, is perfecting all ascetic practices. Because one is accustomed to this, the beauty of appearance is spontaneously accomplished, and it is called "the superior intention of accomplished ascetic practice." One is a friend in accomplishing unsurpassed Bodhi, because one acts as a friend to others and does not abandon them. It is "the superior intention without opportunity." The four types of untamed are that one cannot sit in correct practice, therefore one is untamed in place; one cannot enter the correct path, therefore one is untamed in entering; one's conduct deteriorates, but one revives giving with faith, therefore one is untamed in conduct; among the wise Bodhisattvas, associating with those who disagree in view and conduct, etc., is untamed. Having abandoned those faults like an untamed horse, because one is not untamed, it is called "the superior intention of the wise," like a tamed horse. Abiding in the three trainings, one has transcended the ground of ordinary beings, therefore one is a noble being. Because one has tamed the mind by closing the doors of the senses with the three trainings, etc., it is "the superior intention of the tamed ground." One does not associate with unruly people who, when seen, will cause afflictions such as desire to arise, and one does not associate with the afflictions themselves, therefore it is "the superior intention of non-association." By completely giving away the best of limbs, the head, etc., these six perfections, which are extremely difficult to do, are difficult for other noble hearers, etc., to do. Because it surpasses all conduct, it is said to be the superior intention. Giving is actually exhausted, and morality is broken from arising from temples, etc.

To act as a companion to those who deserve to be relied upon, and to willingly accept the faults of abusing weak sentient beings such as outcastes, and the fruits that transcend the world, the enlightenment of all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas will be like in the palm of one's hand, even abandoning what has already been attained, and seeking the unsurpassed enlightenment that is difficult to find, and the best of all worldly pleasures is the taste of meditative absorption, not being attached to that, and generosity and discipline, etc., if they are not grasped by the perfection of wisdom, they are merely the cause of rebirth in samsara, and if it is an action reproached by wisdom, then those roots of virtue are not reproached either, therefore cultivating those perfections is called the superior intention that is difficult to do. The actions of all sentient beings are for happiness in this life and benefit in the next. Because of thoroughly examining the nature of wisdom, etc., it is the superior intention without the seven prides. Expecting a return means choosing a good field of generosity and giving, but Bodhisattvas do not expect a return, therefore they regard all sentient beings equally as places of giving. The profound Dharma of the Buddha refers to what is difficult for everyone to enter, which is emptiness. Because Bodhisattvas thoroughly understand this with wisdom, they do not hate or fear, this is its definition. Blessing refers to the wisdom of Bodhisattvas, etc., increasing more and more, therefore from ground to ground, it is the particularly surpassing superior intention. There are four kinds of burdens: the burden of the aggregates, the burden of the afflictions, the burden of vows, and the burden of diligence. In order to abandon the burden, to eliminate the burden, to accomplish the burden, and to perfect the burden, therefore in order. Among them, because of completely knowing suffering, the burden of taking the aggregates is abandoned, therefore the happiness of no aggregates is attained. Because of abandoning arising, the burden of taking afflictions is abandoned, therefore the happiness of liberation is attained. Because of meditating on the path, the burden of taking vows is abandoned, therefore the happiness of perfect enlightenment is attained. Because of directly realizing cessation, the burden of taking diligence is abandoned, therefore the happiness of peace is attained. Therefore
