This is because the practice of dedicating all roots of virtue to attain unsurpassed Bodhi will arise. The thought of completely dedicating to Bodhi is called the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva, through which the practice of mastering all dharmas is shown. Because from the thought of dedicating all roots of virtue to unsurpassed Bodhi arises, the practice of perfectly gathering all the Buddha's dharmas through powers and fearlessness, etc., will arise. The thought of perfectly gathering all the Buddha's dharmas is called the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva, through which the practice of realizing the Buddha's path is shown. Because from the thought of wanting to perfectly gather all the Buddha's dharmas arises, the practice of guarding all the holy dharmas will arise. This is because the thought of guarding all the holy dharmas is called the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva, through which the practice arising from non-virtue is shown. Because from the thought of wanting to realize all the holy dharmas, the practice arises to confess and eliminate all non-virtuous deeds done through the three doors of body, speech, and mind. The thought of confessing sins is called the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva, through which the practice of confessing faults is shown. Because from the thought of confessing sinful non-virtuous dharmas arises, the practice of confessing and eliminating all sins will arise. The thought of confessing sins is called the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva, through which the practice of entering virtue is shown. Because from the thought of confessing faults arises, the practice of rejoicing in all the merits of ordinary beings, Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Tathagatas will arise. The thought of rejoicing in all merits is called the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva, through which the practice for the accumulation of Bodhi is shown. Because from the thought of rejoicing in all merits arises, the practice of accumulating vast accumulations of merit will arise. The thought of accumulating immeasurable accumulations of merit is called the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva, through which the wheel of Dharma is shown.

In order to show the application for turning the wheel, because the thought of accumulating immeasurable collections of merit arises from the thought of requesting all the Tathagatas to turn the wheel of Dharma. The thought of requesting all the Buddhas is the inexhaustible application of the Bodhisattva, and in order to show this, the application is shown, because from the thought of requesting all the Buddhas to turn the wheel of Dharma, the application of fully upholding the sacred Dharma spoken by the Tathagatas arises. This is the application for the purpose of making the teachings of the Tathagatas last long, and the previously stated "upholding all the sacred Dharma" is different from upholding one's own realization. The thought of fully upholding the sacred Dharma is the inexhaustible application of the Bodhisattva, and in order to show the application that is in accordance with the holy ones, because from the thought of fully upholding the sacred Dharma, the application of the Dharma of the holy beings arises. Among them, the holy beings are the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Their activity is to uphold all the sacred Dharma, and because they are engaged in such activity, it is called the inexhaustible application of the Bodhisattva. The thought of the activity of the holy beings is the inexhaustible application of the Bodhisattva, and in order to cleanse the defilement in the mouth, the application is shown, because from the thought of thinking to do the activity of the holy beings, the application of unloading the burden of vowing to accomplish the benefit of oneself and others arises. Because one wants to be firm and not abandon the armor, therefore "the thought is the inexhaustible armor of the Bodhisattva", in order to make the thought of the armor firm and unshakeable, the application is shown, because from the thought of unloading the burden that has been undertaken, the application of being firm and not abandoning the armor arises. The thought of being firm and not abandoning the armor is the inexhaustible application of the Bodhisattva. The application of engaging in the benefit and help of others is shown, and the thought of diligence being firm and not abandoning is called the inexhaustible application of the Bodhisattva, so why is it called the inexhaustible application? Because it is the application of accomplishing the affairs of all sentient beings.
