To benefit sentient beings, to bring happiness to sentient beings with a mind of loving-kindness, to make sentient beings believe in the joy of Dharma with a mind of joy, and to make sentient beings abandon attachment and hatred with a mind of equanimity. Therefore, to liberate them from suffering and place them in good destinies is to benefit them. To liberate them from the suffering of the three realms is to bring happiness. To have no faith in the happiness of desire and attachment is to have faith in the joy of Dharma. To have no attachment or hatred towards love and harm is called abandoning attachment and hatred. Where does one abide to practice inexhaustibly? It is shown by the practice of the three doors of body, speech, and mind. The intention of the body is the inexhaustible practice of the Bodhisattva, and so on. The intention to purify the actions of the body completely is called the inexhaustible practice of the Bodhisattva. Because from the cause of that intention, the practice of completely purifying the three karmas of the body will arise. The vows of speech and mind should also be applied in the same way. The three karmas of the body are abandoning killing, not taking what is not given, and sexual misconduct with desire. The four faults of speech are lying, divisive speech, harsh speech, and idle talk, abandoning these. How is it an inexhaustible practice? Because there is no concealment of the teacher's teachings regarding the Dharma, the intention of hearing is shown as the inexhaustible practice of the Bodhisattva. The intention of the Bodhisattva towards the Sutras, etc., with a completely pure intention, without defilement, and seeking to hear, is called an inexhaustible practice. Because from the complete purification of the intention of hearing, the practice of showing the practice without concealing the teachings to other sentient beings will arise. For what reason is it said that the practice is inexhaustible? The intention of not concealing the teacher's teachings is shown as the inexhaustible practice of the Bodhisattva. The intention of revealing without concealing the teacher's teachings is called the inexhaustible practice of the Bodhisattva. Why? Because revealing without concealing the teacher's teachings is also everything.

Because it is practiced to attain the wisdom of omniscience, it is called the inexhaustible practice of the Bodhisattva. How does it exist therein, and how much does it exist? Because it knows all without exception, it is called omniscience. For what reason is that practice also extensively explained in fifteen ways? What are they? Practice for what purpose, practice for the supreme state, practice to follow the position of the guru, practice to control all dharmas, practice to realize the conduct of the Buddha, practice to be freed from non-virtue, practice to confess transgressions, practice to engage in virtue, practice for the accumulation of Bodhi, practice to turn the wheel of Dharma, practice to uphold the teachings, practice to be in harmony with the holy and pure, practice to wash away the impurities below the body, practice for the unwavering and steadfast thought of armor, and practice for the benefit and welfare of others. Among them, the intention of the omniscient mind, which is called the inexhaustible practice of the Bodhisattva, is the explanation of practice for what purpose. The intention of thinking to attain the wisdom of omniscience is called the inexhaustible practice of the Bodhisattva. Why? Because after attaining the wisdom of omniscience, one also places other sentient beings in the unsurpassed mind of Bodhi, and engages in the practice of generating the mind of Bodhi. Therefore, it is called the inexhaustible practice of the Bodhisattva. The rest should also be explained as much as possible in this way. The thought of causing other sentient beings to truly hold the mind of Bodhi is called the inexhaustible practice of the Bodhisattva, which is to explain the practice for the supreme state. Because the thought of placing other sentient beings in the mind of Bodhi, sentient beings are able to deeply engage in the roots of virtue of non-attachment, non-hatred, and non-ignorance. The intention of practicing for the roots of virtue is called the inexhaustible practice of the Bodhisattva, which is to explain the practice to follow the position of the guru. Because the thought of placing other sentient beings in the three roots of virtue
