The same applies to the remaining gamas. Perverted wisdom refers to the erroneous contemplation of heterodox views, etc. The Venerable Sharadvatiputra, with "If it is so," etc., briefly explains the pure intention and the inexhaustible intention. Considering that all sentient beings should abandon all non-virtuous dharmas such as attachment in their minds, it is regarded as a pure intention. Considering that all sentient beings should be placed in virtuous dharmas such as faith, it is called an inexhaustible intention. The inexhaustible intention has been explained. A Bodhisattva who does not abandon the burden is one who constantly practices and is respectful, and this is to explain that. Furthermore, the Venerable Sharadvatiputra said that because Bodhisattvas have inexhaustible intentions, their practice is also inexhaustible. The inexhaustible practice that arises from the inexhaustible intention mentioned above is the meaning of arising. In two ways, as mentioned above, due to the inexhaustible intention, the practice mentioned below that arises from the inexhaustible intention is also inexhaustible. Why is that? Because by asking "Why is that?" etc., the reason why the inexhaustible intention becomes the inexhaustible practice is questioned. The inexhaustible practice is also explained in many ways, namely: where the inexhaustible practice is, through what the inexhaustible practice is, where it abides and the inexhaustible practice is, how the inexhaustible practice is, and for what the inexhaustible practice is explained. Among them, there are also six ways in which the practice is inexhaustible: the practice of benefiting, the practice of engaging in three kinds of actions, the practice of not harming, the practice of ultimate liberation, the practice of destroying afflictions, and the practice of giving undistorted access to knowable things. Among them, the practice of benefiting is explained by "The intention of giving is the inexhaustible practice of the Bodhisattva," etc., that is, the intention of giving alms is called the inexhaustible practice of the Bodhisattva. Why is this intention called inexhaustible practice? Because from this intention, the act of completely giving away all external and internal things appears, and this is the Bodhisattva's

It should be observed as an inexhaustible practice. The phrase "The thought of discipline is the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva" indicates the practice of purifying the three aspects. That is, the thought of abiding in discipline is called the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva. Why is this thought called an inexhaustible practice? Because through this thought, it appears that one truly upholds discipline and so forth. The phrase "The thought of patience is the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva" indicates the practice of not harming. That is, the thought of abiding in patience is the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva. Why is that? Because through this thought, one generates a mind without animosity towards all beings who cause harm, and the practice of forbearance arises. The phrase "The thought of diligence is the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva" indicates the practice of bringing to completion. That is, the thought of abiding in diligence is the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva. Why is that? Because through this thought, it appears that diligence precedes the completion of all roots of virtue. The phrase "The thought of meditation is the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva" indicates the practice of subduing afflictions. That is, the thought of abiding in meditation is called the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva. Why is that? Because through this thought, all afflictions that are contrary to meditation are subdued, and the practice appears. The phrase "The thought of wisdom is the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva" indicates the practice of engaging with knowable things without error. That is, the thought of cultivating wisdom is called the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva. Why is that? Because through this thought, it appears that one upholds all that is heard without error. What is the inexhaustible practice? It is indicated by the thought of the four immeasurables, that is, the thoughts of loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity are the inexhaustible practice of a Bodhisattva, as it is said. Why are the thoughts of the four immeasurables called inexhaustible practices? Because with the thought of loving-kindness,
