Because of having impartial love for all beings, the mind arises equally. Because there is no differentiation, the mind arises without inequality, which shows the purification of the great thought. Because of abandoning the attachment to concepts such as good and bad, high and low, it is called without inequality. Because there are no defilements in its nature, the mind arises purely, which shows the attainment of transcendental wisdom. It is not because of abandoning defilements such as desire that it is pure, but it refers to arising in the essence of self-nature purity. The generation of the mind in the second ground is not mentioned because the immaculate precepts are not completely fulfilled, and the corrupt precepts are not completely abandoned. The generation of the mind in the third ground is also shown through one's own ten actions, which are: eliminating the antidote to wrong views with pure precepts, and not losing meditative concentration, not losing immeasurable mind, not losing supernormal powers, combining the exhaustion of outflows with supernormal powers, liberating from meditative concentration and being born in the lower realms, even if born in this way, not completely abandoning meditative concentration, and after being born there, being able to manifest supernormal powers, therefore being praised by the Tathagata, becoming the support of hearers and solitary Buddhas, although it is the realm of demons, it shows that it is not the realm of demons. Therefore, because of the light of wisdom, the mind arises without impurity, which shows the elimination of the antidote to wrong views with pure precepts. Because there is no obscuration of knowable objects and afflictions, the light of wisdom appears, indicating that wisdom is pure. Therefore, because there is no impurity of these two obscurations, it is called arising without impurity. Because of not abandoning the superior thought, it is said that it arises after thinking very definitely, which shows not losing meditative concentration. Superior thought refers to the pure thought of bodhisattvas who abide on the ground. Not abandoning such a thought, but referring to arising in conjunction with such a thought, without distraction or confusion, is called arising after thinking definitely. Because love is equal and identical to space, the mind arises truthfully. Quantity

It shows obtaining without losing. For sentient beings equal to the edge of the sky, contemplate that love arising from the mind of enlightenment pervades, therefore it is called vast birth. Because it opens up all sentient beings, it is said that this mind is a vast birth, showing that the five superknowledges are obtained without being lost. The five superknowledges arising from the mind of enlightenment completely accomplish the thoughts of all sentient beings. Thus, there is no obstacle or interruption to the thoughts and hopes of sentient beings, therefore it is called vast. Because of giving to uncontaminated wisdom, it is said that this mind is an immaculate birth, showing that it is in accordance with the direct perception of the exhaustion of the person. This mind of enlightenment, either contemplates uncontaminated and uninterrupted wisdom, or it is said that this mind gives rise to wisdom. Thus, because of contemplating uncontaminated wisdom, this mind is called an immaculate birth. Because great compassion is uninterrupted, it is said that this mind is born in accordance with everything, showing liberation from meditation and birth in the lower realms. With great compassion, constantly contemplating sentient beings in the desire realm, even if one obtains meditation, one is still reborn in the desire realm, which is called born in accordance with everything. Because of knowing the ritual of dedication, it is said that the continuity of this mind is born without interruption, showing that even if it arises in this way, it does not completely abandon that meditation. Because one is skilled in dedicating all virtuous deeds to unsurpassed enlightenment, therefore its result is non-abiding nirvana, and the continuity does not cease until the end of sentient beings and samsara exists, therefore it is called born without interruption. Because all-knowing ones highly praise it, it is said that this mind is the birth that should be preceded, showing that after arising there, it also goes forth, therefore showing the praise of the Tathagatas. Because this mind of enlightenment is praised by the Tathagatas, gods and all humans gather and should be approached, therefore it is called the birth that should be preceded. Because of entering other vehicles, it is said that this mind is worthy of being viewed, showing that it has become the basis of hearers and solitary realizers.
