Since everything is to be abandoned, therefore, not holding the characteristics of form in mind is the perfection of meditation. Whatever is called the proliferation of the nature of form, that is to say, all the characteristics of form mentioned above, the said proliferations do not arise in the mind, that is the perfection of wisdom. Starting from the teaching of great power, it is said, from then on, named the son of Sharadvati, etc. All these retinues with faith will also increase their roots of virtue, meaning that all the roots of virtue of these retinues will become vast due to the previous cause. From then on, the power of the Buddha, meaning the blessings of Buddha Shakyamuni. The introduction has been explained. In the Mahayana, there are fifteen kinds of Bodhisattvas, namely, abiding in position, going everywhere, abiding in Dharma, practicing compassion, being manifest, completely reproaching, showing, taming, completely purifying, entering meditation, relying on each separately, showing, spontaneously accomplishing, acting, and obtaining power. Among them, the Bodhisattva who generates the mind of enlightenment is called the Bodhisattva who abides in position. There are also two kinds of Bodhisattvas who abide in position, namely, entering and completely entering. Among them, entering refers to generating thoughts towards the Buddha, generating thoughts towards the Dharma and Sangha, relying on the Buddha, relying on the Dharma and Sangha, generating certainty towards the Buddha, and generating certainty towards the Dharma and Sangha. Among them, generating thoughts refers to, for example, the Buddha Bhagavan is endowed with wisdom and feet, Sugata, etc., knowing through the gate of merits, and knowing that there is a difference because he is superior to Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Relying refers to acknowledging as a teacher. Generating certainty refers to there being no other besides that teacher. Completely entering refers to generating the mind of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, in order to explain this, from then on, it was said, named the son of Sharadvati, etc. Generating the mind of enlightenment

Therefore, it shows the basis of all dharmas. The basis of the practices of the bodhisattvas mentioned below, such as inexhaustible intention, is the generation of bodhicitta. Why did you ask, "Son of good family, why is your name called Inexhaustible Wisdom?" This is to initiate the explanation of the inexhaustible, such as the generation of bodhicitta. Because from the answer to that bodhisattva's question, the inexhaustible is explained. Among them, the so-called "Inexhaustible Wisdom" is the homogeneous cause of the objects of all dharmas. Regarding this, the nature of all dharmas, conditioned and unconditioned, is suchness. Suchness is the unchanging nature, so it is inexhaustible. Regarding this, the wisdom of the object is also inseparable from it, so it is inexhaustible. From the cause of focusing on such inexhaustibility, completely pure wisdom arises, which is called the homogeneous cause. It means that the cause and effect are the same. Wisdom is a synonym for wisdom. Alternatively, the endless distinctions of dharmas, such as the practices of bodhisattvas, are also called all dharmas. Because they do not exhaust from the perspective of cause and time, etc., that is why they are called that. Therefore, in order to clearly show that meaning. Why? Because all dharmas are inexhaustible. The Buddha said, "Son of good family, you should begin by explaining the inexhaustible dharmas of the bodhisattvas and be full of confidence." This sentence means that you should speak of the inexhaustible dharma in that way. Inexhaustible Wisdom said: Venerable Shariputra's son, the initial mind generation of the bodhisattvas is also inexhaustible, etc., showing that the generation of bodhicitta is inexhaustible. And the word "also" shows not only that the generation of bodhicitta is inexhaustible, but also that the intention and so on that appear below are also inexhaustible. That mind generation should also be understood as inexhaustible in three ways. What are the three ways? One must understand that mind generation is inexhaustible from the perspectives of what is inexhaustible mind generation, by what cause is it inexhaustible, and how is it inexhaustible. What is inexhaustible mind generation?
