It is called the phrase "adorned with the splendor of one's own virtues." The complete purification of the fruit is shown in two ways: obtaining power over all dharmas is shown by "being granted power over all the Buddha's dharmas." At the tenth bhumi, that bodhisattva is granted power over all the Buddha's dharmas by the Tathagatas, meaning that they are obtained in that way. Being close to becoming a Buddha is shown by "becoming a regent due to being bound by one lifetime." For example, like the noble Maitreya, becoming the unobstructed Dharma regent bound by one lifetime is exactly what it means. The complete purification of karma is shown by showing the means of taming in accordance with what is to be tamed, such as "the aspirations of all sentient beings," and so on. Being skilled in understanding which vehicle sentient beings aspire to, and the means by which they will be liberated by which vehicle, is knowing the ritual of taming what is to be tamed. The complete purification of conduct is also shown in two ways: being skilled in entering into manifest enlightenment is shown by "knowing the way to subdue the essence of the bodhi site, the vajra seat, and the fearless manner of completely subduing it." The very place where manifest enlightenment will occur is the essence of the earth, and the vajra seat is also it. There, one's own fearlessness towards beings, and fearlessness towards making sentient beings happy and unhappy, is knowing the fearless manner of subduing and completely subduing. Engaging in the benefit of sentient beings through emanations is shown by "the deeds of all Buddhas," and so on. The deeds of all Buddhas are to fully embrace those who have entered this doctrine and to punish those who are hostile. Descending from the Tushita palace, and from entering the womb to nirvana, by excellently showing the Buddha's body, being courageous and powerful in accomplishing the deeds of the Buddha, and fully abiding in turning the precious wheel of the Great Vehicle Dharma, that is what it means. Praise is the doctrine. Merit and benefit are explanation, the aforementioned merits of those bodhisattvas are to be relied upon, therefore they are called merits, that is, this life and the next.

Because there is nothing higher than a mountain, it is called benefit. Satisfaction and joy are because of the combination of the three wisdoms. Specifically speaking, it refers to uttering words of joy generated by the power of the Dharma. To show that the place is completely pure, it is also said that Shariputra is in the irreversible world, etc. The lower realms are because of falling below, namely sentient beings in hell, animals, and hungry ghosts. No leisure means there is no opportunity for direct realization. That is, the eight unfree states are: being born as a hell being, being born in the place of animals, being born as a hungry ghost, being born as a barbarian in a remote area, being born in the formless realm, being born without perception, being blind, being deaf, being mute, etc., becoming a heretic, and being born in a kalpa without a Buddha. There are eight kinds of suffering: birth, old age, sickness, death, encountering what is disliked, being separated from what is liked, not obtaining what is desired, and in short, the five aggregates of grasping are suffering. In the Buddha's pure land, even the sound of the lower realms does not exist, let alone actually existing. Why? Because that place is completely pure by abandoning the eleven faults. There is no fault of transgressing minor precepts, that is, there is no error of falling into transgression, and there is no sound of afflictions, which indicates that falling from other bases of precepts other than the four root precepts is called the error of falling into transgression. Its cause is afflictions such as desire, meaning that the sound of this person committing such an error of falling into transgression due to the power of afflictions is also not heard. There is no fault of transgressing the root precepts, that is, there is no evil, and there is no sound of transgressing the precepts, which indicates that killing and so on are themselves evil, and therefore transgress the precepts, because they are not suitable for being a virtuous practitioner, so it is called transgressing the precepts. There is no fault of bad birth, that is, there is no sound of being born as a woman, which indicates that all excellent men are born from lotuses. There is no fault of inconsistent behavior.
