Thus. The statement "only sees Dharma, does not see non-Dharma" means that because selflessness and so on are not inverted and are true, they are called "only Dharma," which is seeing it. The mention of "seeing as self" and so on is non-Dharma because it is not true and is inverted, which is not seeing it. The statement "all dharmas are Dharma" means that the sound of Dharma refers to emptiness and so on, and because it exists in all dharmas, it is said that "all dharmas are Dharma." The statement "all dharmas are non-Dharma" means that because clinging to self and what belongs to self also arises in those dharmas, all dharmas are non-Dharma, that is, clinging to self and so on is called non-Dharma. The statement "by individual discrimination" means by knowing emptiness, or by being pervaded by emptiness. The statement "manifestly attached" means that those dharmas themselves are the cause of clinging to self and what belongs to self. The statement "without the Dharma of the Buddha" and so on means that liberation and nirvana are attained from understanding the emptiness of dharmas. Therefore, there is no Dharma that, when relied upon, does not become the Dharma of the Buddha. It means that the Dharma of the Buddha is the Dharma to be understood by scripture and realization, implying that there is no Dharma that is not its nature. The statement "from what is there no Bodhi" means that Bodhi is characterized by abandonment and wisdom, implying that there is no Dharma that, when relied upon, does not become its cause. The statement "without the path" means that the path is the ten bhumis, implying that there is no Dharma that is not its nature. The statement "without liberation" means that there is no Dharma that is not the cause of liberation. The statement "without definite emergence" means that there is no Dharma that does not emerge from the three realms. The statement "he knows all dharmas as emergence" means that the Bodhisattva abiding in the Dharma mindfulness knows that all dharmas emerge from the three realms, and become the cause of emergence, and become the cause of liberation. Alternatively, by knowing all dharmas as emergence, he will attain the door of the great compassion samadhi called "unobstructed to sentient beings."

Liberation or separation from all things and characteristics arising from all lands, which means understanding emptiness. Because he understands all dharmas as empty in this way, the door of samadhi in which great compassion arises for sentient beings who cling to characteristics will be attained. Entering any samadhi will give rise to great compassion, and this samadhi is called the samadhi of great compassion. Its door refers to the attainment of that samadhi, or the method of entering it. Unobstructed means samadhi, which is abandoning opposing factors. "He" refers to the bodhisattva who has attained the door of the samadhi of great compassion, or the bodhisattva who abides in the mindfulness of dharma. All dharmas refer to the aggregates and elements, etc. Afflictions refer to desire, etc. Obtaining the false perception means obtaining the knowledge that it is without inherent existence like an illusion. In order to show how to obtain this perception, it is said, "These dharmas are without afflictions," etc. These dharmas such as the aggregates are not the cause of arising afflictions, or are not mixed with afflictions, therefore, these dharmas are not associated with afflictions. Why is that? "Because" refers to why the bodhisattva obtains such a perception, or why these dharmas are not afflictions? This is a word of questioning. As for "Thus, they rely on the meaning of the ultimate truth," "Thus" refers to what is said below. "They" refers to those bodhisattvas or those dharmas. Relying on the meaning of the ultimate truth means that all the previously mentioned dharmas of affliction rely on the meaning of emptiness, or the bodhisattva himself relies on the meaning of emptiness, and the ultimate truth refers to the meaning of emptiness. As for "There is also no collection of afflictions," etc., because it is empty in this way, there are not even afflictions themselves, nor is there becoming an aggregate. As for "Enlightenment is for realizing these afflictions," it means that realizing the nature of the previously mentioned afflictions as without inherent existence is itself enlightenment. Of afflictions
