Etc. That is a Bodhisattva. Therefore, the nature of the mind is emptiness, but in conventional truth, whatever cause is employed, the result will be obtained accordingly, without fail, arising dependently on causes and conditions, uniquely certain but not apparent, which is difficult to observe, so it is called the meaning of being extremely profound. Even if the nature of the mind is like that, etc., in ultimate truth, the mind is empty in its essence, but in conventional truth, if causes and conditions gather, it will not be non-existent. These phenomena arising from the gathering of causes and conditions also do not have creators such as non-Buddhists, so they also operate. How they accomplish as desired means that even without creators, etc., the gathering of causes and conditions will arise and appear in conventional truth, therefore, whatever cause produces whatever result, they will be accomplished as desired. I will also strive to accomplish, meaning that because the results are accomplished as desired, I will also, in order to purify the Buddha-field, strive in generosity, etc., completely giving away all possessions. The nature of the mind is also not abandoned, meaning that even if striving to accomplish in conventional truth, in ultimate truth, the unborn nature of the mind is not abandoned, or it is not allowed to deteriorate. The mind is like an illusion, etc., through these, it is explained that the six perfections are unobtainable in ultimate truth, and that cause and effect will necessarily appear in conventional truth. Like an illusion means that it is without self-nature like an illusion. Therefore, the appearance that I am giving things to this person is without self-nature. Completely giving away all possessions means completely giving away all internal and external things. A pure Buddha-field refers to a Buddha-field with characteristics such as the color of lapis lazuli. The mind is like a dream, meaning that just as various kinds of things appear in a dream, but their nature is emptiness, so too, various kinds of phenomena such as the apprehended and the apprehender appear on the mind, but their nature is emptiness.

Correctly taking and correctly learning are discipline. What should be correctly taken and what should be learned are the objects of learning. "For the sake of omniscience" means for the sake of attaining omniscience. "Not completely established from the beginning" means that just as when an eye disease is wiped away and examined, there is no inherent existence, so too, even at the time of initial appearance, there is no inherent existence. Similarly, this mind also has no inherent existence from the beginning and is not born. Patience is enduring the harm done by others. Pacification means not causing harm again; these are to be combined with "accomplished." "In order to perfect forbearance in the unborn dharma" means dedicating in order to attain fearlessness towards the dharma of no birth and no cessation. "Extremely secluded" means that just as a mirage is empty of water, so too, the mind is empty of grasping and being grasped, and is secluded. "To all roots of virtue" means either to accomplish all roots of virtue, or it means for the sake of accomplishing. The Buddha's teachings are the grounds and perfections, and so on. "Without form" means because it is not the nature of form that has obstruction. "Indemonstrable" means that it cannot be shown to others, like blue and so on. "Unobstructed" means that it pervades like the sky. "Without consciousness" means because it is separated from what is to be known and what knows. The Buddha's samadhi is the samadhi of non-discrimination. "Without grasping" means that the appearance of what is grasped by the mind and mental factors is not established as real. "Without characteristics" means because it is not the nature of form and so on. "Indemonstrable" is as before. "Without a place" means because it does not abide in form and the senses. The words of the question are the aggregates and elements, and so on, which are asked by others. "Knowing the explanation of distinctions" means the wisdom that knows how to separately explain the dharmas that have been heard. The Buddha's wisdom is like a mirror and so on. "The mind does not arise without an object," and so on, because the conventional mind has causes and conditions, and so on, for its objects.
