Oh! Not learning is not completing the learning. Sending forth light means having no stinginess towards them. What is called 'completely pure birth' means being born in a Buddha-field because one possesses a gathering of pure morality, or not being born in the three lower realms, or not being born in a place where evil is done. What is called 'completely pure womb' means that one always arises miraculously because one confesses one's own and others' downfalls according to the Dharma and does not discuss them. What is called 'not discriminating all that is taught' means that one abides in a state of not discriminating all the teachings of the Dharma, so all that is done is meaningful and not wasted. What is called 'power over all dharmas' means becoming the great lord who has mastered all dharmas. What is called 'ruling over all the world with completely pure intention' means that because the intention is completely pure, there is no deceit in whatever is done, so all the world trusts in that and becomes subject to it. What is called 'making sentient beings completely pure, one's own Buddha-field is completely pure' means that in those lives, the sentient beings that I must ripen and tame are placed in the six perfections, such as generosity and morality, and made pure, so that when I manifest enlightenment, the sentient beings dwelling in the Buddha-field are also dwelling in generosity and are completely endowed with dwelling in morality, so the Buddha-field is completely pure. In some texts, it says, 'Making sentient beings completely pure,' which also means that there are no pebbles or thorns in the Buddha-field, and the equal appearance also means that my mind is completely subdued, and the appearance of such is not manifested, which is seen as the meaning arising from familiarity. Showing the ripening of karma, what is called 'completely pure superior intention' means that the intention not to harm sentient beings but to benefit them is the superior intention. No matter what good or bad arises, if one knows that it arises from the ripening of my karma, then because there is no love or hatred for others, the superior intention is pure. What is called 'not desiring inferior conduct' means that one does not like to abide in the path of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas who have entered for their own sake, that is the meaning.

The so-called "having faith in the vast Dharma of the Buddha" means having faith in practicing the bhumis and paramitas. The so-called "not abandoning the mind of omniscience" means not abandoning the bodhicitta to save all beings, and therefore possessing the accumulation of merit to attain unsurpassed bodhi. The so-called "taking faith as the foremost" means having faith, meaning that faith is the cause. The so-called "not regarding body and life" means not cherishing body and life and seeking the Dharma of the Buddha, and therefore possessing all the Dharmas of the Buddha, such as strength and fearlessness. The so-called "causing the previously made vows not to degenerate" means that when first generating bodhicitta, one vows to place all sentient beings in unsurpassed bodhi, and thus actually attaining bodhi, that is, not deceiving all the world by saving all sentient beings. The so-called "making all good dharmas complete" means completing all the Dharmas of the Buddha, or that the cause of making them ultimate is the merit of good dharmas, because having merit, one can completely and perfectly attain the dharmas such as paramitas, therefore it is said that one can complete all the Dharmas of the Buddha. In order to briefly show the meaning of extensively explaining the accumulation of merit, therefore it is said "what is the cause and condition for this" and so on. Thus, it refers to what was said above. In short, by what kind of root of virtue can one obtain the bhumis and paramitas, as well as the excellent marks and signs, strength and fearlessness, and the body and so on, the cause of obtaining these is the accumulation of inexhaustible merit. If the accumulation of merit is shown extensively, in detail, and without omission, then it would take kalpas or more than kalpas to explain, but even so, it cannot be exhausted, that is the meaning. The inexhaustible accumulation of merit has been explained. In order to cut off all doubts, therefore it is said "Then, what is the inexhaustible accumulation of wisdom of the Bodhisattvas" and so on. The so-called "will realize wisdom" means to understand the non-dual wisdom.
