It is for this reason. It is called "not completely pure" because it does not perform virtuous deeds. It is called "non-abiding" because it does not rely on phenomena such as form. It is called "extremely non-abiding" because it does not rely on faculties such as the eye. It is called "rootless" because it is not produced by karma and afflictions, nor does it abide in them. It is called "all equal" because it is as pervasive as the sky. It is called "equal to the equal" because all dharmas are equal in nature; because they gather in one nature, it is equal to the equal. It is called "equal to the unequal" as the unequal Dharmakaya, all dharmas are the same as it, so it is equal from the unequal. All dharmas are the same in nature and are the same as the Dharmakaya, so it is equal to the equal and the unequal. Because it transcends all discriminations, it is non-discriminating. Because it transcends all actions, it is uncreated. Because one sees the nature of all dharmas as the nature of self-nature nirvana, one finds faultlessness in all dharmas. Because it is without essence like the sky, it is the nature of the extremely sky self-nature. Among them, who are those who rely on the Dharma nature? Those who rely on emptiness and understand it do not grasp or rely on any realm of the eye, etc., as real. In order to briefly show the meaning of the Dharma nature that has been extensively explained. Therefore, it is said that entering the gate of Dharma, etc., is to realize that all dharmas in the Dharmadhatu are the cause of the arising of all Buddha dharmas, so it is the gate of Dharma. Entering the principle is to realize that all dharmas are the nature of emptiness. By relying on all dharmas, all dharmas will become Dharma nature, called "by relying on all dharmas, all dharmas will become Dharma nature," that is, by taking this as the nature of the Dharmadhatu of all dharmas, relying on all dharmas, the aggregates and realms and other dharmas will become Dharma nature. The term "this is" refers to the meaning of this understanding as mentioned above. The four inexhaustible reliances have been explained. In order to show the completely pure Bodhisattva, Venerable Shariputra's son, and also the Bodhisattvas.

It is also said that the accumulations of merit and wisdom of the Bodhisattvas are inexhaustible. The reason they are said to be inexhaustible is that the objects of enjoyment through merit and wisdom, such as generosity, are inexhaustible. Perfectly pure Bodhisattvas are also of two types: those who are always without poverty and those who cut off all doubts. The meaning encompassed by the two accumulations can also be combined with the meaning of teaching the path of accumulation. Among these, what is it that is always without poverty? It is the accumulation of the accumulation of merit. What is it that cuts off all doubts? It is the accumulation of the accumulation of wisdom. With regard to being always without poverty, it is said, "Then, what is the inexhaustible accumulation of merit of the Bodhisattvas?" and so on. For example, the so-called "object of merit arising from generosity" is by whom, where, how, and for what purpose is generosity practiced. Generosity is the object of merit of generosity. Among these, what is given? It is the giving of outer and inner things. With what mind is generosity given? It is given with a mind free from attachment and so on. Where is generosity given? It is given in fields of virtue, fields of benefit, and fields of suffering. How is generosity given? It is given respectfully from one's own hands in due time. For what purpose is generosity given? It is given for the purpose of offering and benefiting. The so-called "object of merit arising from ethics" is the ethics that possesses six branches, which is the object of merit arising from ethics. What are the six branches? They are abiding in ethics, being disciplined by the vows of individual liberation, possessing perfect ritual and conduct, regarding even the slightest fault as fearful, and training by properly taking up the foundations of learning, as it is said in the scriptures. The object of merit arising from meditation is the virtuous dharmas of equanimity, which are characterized by samadhi and absorption. Alternatively, the merit arising from repeatedly familiarizing the mind with the dharmas is the object of merit arising from meditation. Entering into the samadhi of loving-kindness is entering into the samadhi of loving-kindness in order to accomplish loving-kindness.
