That which is called, the wisdom that realizes emptiness, is the knowledge that realizes emptiness, where emptiness has been exhausted in its description. The wisdom that realizes it is the non-dual wisdom. That which is called the knowledge of acting without characteristics is the wisdom that analyzes and understands the Dharma without characteristics, that is the knowledge of acting without characteristics, which is also the wisdom of non-conceptualization, without attachment to all characteristics. That which is called without aspiration is knowing without aspiration, both Samsara and Nirvana are without self-nature, knowing that there is nothing to aspire to in that which is without self-nature is knowing without aspiration. Not manifestly fabricating is emptiness, which is devoid of all characteristics of fabrication, knowing that it is not produced by cause and condition. That which is called the knowledge of entering into one principle is knowing that all Dharmas enter into one characteristic and knowing the self-nature of one characteristic. That which is called the knowledge of realizing selflessness, etc., shows the knowledge of realizing the selflessness of the person. For the person, truly knowing selflessness is truly knowing that there is no entity of the person in the aggregates, realms, and sources, etc. That which is called the knowledge of not being attached to the past time is that the body and enjoyment have passed away and ceased, understanding that they have no entity, therefore, the desire to meet again does not arise, or for past things, knowing that there is no obstacle to the objects to be known is called the knowledge of not being attached to the past time. That which is called knowing that there is no obstacle to the future time is knowing that the future time itself has no end and cessation, or for the things of the future time, knowing that there is no obstacle to the objects to be known. That which is called knowing that in the present time, everything is without fault is understanding that the things of the present time have no self-nature, therefore, anger and attachment do not arise for anything. That which is called knowing the aggregates as illusion, just as illusion is produced by causes and conditions, appearing but without self-nature, so are the five aggregates, the Alaya consciousness is like an illusionist, and karmic imprints are like the power of mantras and medicines.

Knowing that what arises from them has no inherent nature. It is said that knowing the realms to be like illusory poison means that just as illusory poison quickly kills, so too, relying on the eye and form, and focusing on the consciousness of the eye, by giving rise to attachment and hatred towards form, one knows that it kills the roots of virtue. It is said that knowing the sources to be like empty villages means that just as there are no sentient beings in an empty village, so too, one knows that the sources have no self or what belongs to self. It is said that knowing inner peace means knowing that the aggregates of inner grasping have no self or what belongs to self, or that by practicing concentration internally, one knows the means by which the mind is not overcome by sleep and drowsiness. It is said that knowing there is no external wandering means knowing that external phenomena have no substance, or knowing the means by which the mind does not stray to external phenomena. It is said that knowing objects to be like illusions and without distinction means that just as illusions, though unreal, cause afflictions and deceive those who are not skilled in their nature, so too, objects such as forms, though without substance, appear to children who are not skilled in their nature as if they were real, and cause afflictions. Knowing how to abide in mindfulness means pointing out the mindfulness of the dharani of non-forgetfulness, and knowing the means to prevent it from declining. It is said that knowing how to follow patience means patience towards unborn dharmas, patience that does not become weary of suffering, and knowing what dharmas are in accordance. It is said that knowing how to discriminate with intelligence means understanding dharmas correctly with the intelligence of the nature of wisdom. Knowing how to understand the self means understanding correctly what the nature of the self is. Knowing how to fully understand the truths means knowing the characteristics of the four noble truths without error. If asked, how does one know without error? Therefore, it is said to know that suffering does not arise, etc. It means knowing that the aggregate of suffering itself is empty of nature, and therefore does not arise or cease. Knowing the origin
