It is like earth, water, fire, and wind. The so-called "coming" is caused by the cause of coming, so it is the nature of arising from a cause. The absence of a cause for coming is called "going," which is the exhaustion of the nature of arising from a cause. The cause of coming and going, like a seed, is possible for ordinary beings, but impossible for noble ones, that is the meaning. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, the so-called "coming" refers to the sound, letters, and symbols of terms, etc., thereby showing the extinction of terms and non-terms. Worldly terms, sounds, letters, and various symbols are called "coming." Knowing or comprehending terms, letters, sounds, and various symbols is called "going," which is possible for ordinary beings. Like the coming and going of worldly terms, sounds, letters, and symbols, it is impossible for noble ones, that is the meaning. In another way, these words of extinction of coming and going refer to the nature of coming and going that is universally conceived by children, and the nature that is universally conceived for the perfectly established nature, which is constantly non-existent. Who knows it in this way? It is the going of the noble ones. The so-called "coming" is a word of gathering, etc., and the absence of a word of gathering, etc., the absence of coming and going is the going of the noble ones, etc., combine in order. Son of the lineage, it is not for the sake of your eloquence like this, the question of "from where does inexhaustible wisdom come," etc., is not to measure the wisdom and eloquence of that Bodhisattva, and to ask about these dharmas mentioned above, but to listen to the qualities of the worlds such as Non-smiling, which have not been heard before, this is the final conclusion. Therefore, in any case, in order to listen to those places that have not been heard before, I ask you, this is directly stated. Son of the lineage, for example, like this, etc., using the famous metaphors in the world to show the meaning of the questions that will appear below, from where does the harvesting of crops and the cutting of trees in the world come?

Just as asking "Where are you going, what are you carrying?" and then taking a small portion of the carried goods as tax, we, the Shravakas, also ask the Bodhisattvas, who possess many Dharma treasures, for some of the meaning of the Mahayana Dharma. Among them, "local tax" refers to the townspeople themselves paying taxes. Tax refers to paying the king's tax, and after paying the tax, offering it to the king. We Shravakas follow the words of others, and from hearing from others, faith and understanding arise, unlike Bodhisattvas who are able to realize all Dharmas by relying on their own wisdom. We Shravakas follow the words indicated and explained by Khenpos and Acharyas, and from that, faith and understanding arise. The so-called "light appearing in one's own mindstream" means that we Shravakas strive to purify and clarify our own mindstream, unlike Bodhisattvas who strive to completely purify the mindstreams of others. The so-called "constantly and continuously like you, a noble person" means that we Shravakas always ask noble persons like you, the Bodhisattvas who possess many noble Dharma treasures, about the meaning of the Mahayana. The so-called "from where Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas" means that in order to receive the meaning of the Mahayana, from where the means to produce many Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, that is, the Mahayana Dharma, is taught, we ask in order to realize the meaning of the Mahayana. Inexhaustible Intelligence said, "Ask the Tathagata," which is also to praise the Guru and increase wisdom. The so-called "sentient beings will don armor for Bodhi" means that by proclaiming their virtues, sentient beings will be inspired to generate the unsurpassed Bodhicitta, please explain such a teaching.
