Exhaustion. Or, from below, it is said that his ear realm is the Dharmadhatu, extremely pure, etc. The nature of the divine ear mentioned is the nature of the Dharmadhatu. Because the Dharmadhatu is inexhaustible, the divine ear is also inexhaustible. This should be understood in nine aspects: surpassing all mundane and supramundane things, focusing on all sounds, knowing from what cause it arises, knowing from what result it arises, knowing that cause and result are different, being without afflictions towards both, knowing that the three times are not mixed, karma and cause. From "all gods" to "most luminous" inclusive, it shows the superiority over the mundane and supramundane. From "the divine ear" to "all those hairs are also heard" inclusive, it shows the focus on all sounds. From "the object of the mind" to "all that arises from karma is also truly and completely known" inclusive, it shows knowing from what cause it arises. From "the action of speech is the cause of virtue" to "all those who hold the cause of not declaring are also truly and completely known" inclusive, it shows knowing what result arises. From "the latent attachment of desire" to "the unobstructed wisdom of the divine ear's superknowledge truly and completely knows" inclusive, it shows knowing the difference between cause and result. From "the wisdom of the divine ear's superknowledge of those is noble" to "great compassion arises for the sound of those who are not noble" inclusive, it shows being without afflictions towards both. From "for all sounds also, the previous limit and" etc., it shows knowing that time is not mixed. From "the wisdom of the divine ear's superknowledge of those" to "those sentient beings who do not understand the Dharma, those are not heard" inclusive, it shows from the ground. From "their ear realm is the Dharmadhatu" to the gods

Such as dedicating to the ear, The above explains the cause. The words with the same meaning as those mentioned in the chapter on the divine eye above are not explained here. The objects of the mind, good and non-good, and those that do not indicate, all the verbal actions of sentient beings arising from these, are also known exactly as they are, which means that the reason why sentient beings are good at speaking is that they focus on the good and non-good of the mind and the Dharma that does not indicate. They also fully know the causes of the sounds that arise from which Dharma they focus on in their minds and speak in verbal actions. It has been said that knowing what causes it arises from. Among verbal actions, all those who grasp the cause of virtue, etc., refer to hearing the words spoken by those sentient beings and knowing exactly what results will arise from the cause of speaking those words. It has also been said what results arise. From the verbal actions of latent desire, all that is hatred and utterance, etc., indicates that among the three poisons of greed, hatred, and ignorance, one is the main cause of manifest speech, and one is the helper. Among them, uttering latent desire with hatred is taking the basis of speech arising from desire, not that desire actually arises, but is latent, and hatred actually arises and speaks, which is the meaning of knowing. Similarly, apply to the rest as well. Among verbal actions, all that is the decline of the application to thoughts, etc., refers to the fact that the application of speaking is confused and wrong when the thoughts are not wrong, and the application of speaking is not confused and wrong, but the thoughts are confused, etc., are known exactly as they are. It has been said that knowing that the cause and effect are inconsistent. The voice of the noble ones refers to the words spoken by the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Tathagatas, as well as the voice of teaching the Dharma. The voice of the non-noble ones refers to the voices of various names such as coming and going uttered by ordinary people. Generating great loving-kindness for the voice of the noble ones, etc., refers to hearing the voices of the noble ones, because this voice of teaching the Dharma benefits all sentient beings.
