Also, do not abandon equanimity. In some cases, one should seek and strive, and not leave it in equanimity, that is its meaning. To abandon beings who are not vessels and do not want to listen means beings who are ripe. For those who are not vessels for explaining profound Dharma, and those who do not want to listen to Dharma, one does not explain and leaves them. Here, abandonment means to leave something undone. Even at times when one has not found something, one does not generate unpleasant thoughts and leaves them in equanimity. Beings who are of the Hearer Vehicle, etc., those individuals who are determined to be of the Hearer lineage, who are situated on the ground where warmth and summit, etc., are definitely produced, or those who have entered the Path of Seeing, just as they cannot be transformed into the Great Vehicle, they are similarly left in equanimity. At the time of giving, the equanimity of subduing morality means that giving and morality are practiced through different doors, so one practices giving, or at the time of praising the merits of giving, one practices morality, or praising the merits of morality is also left in equanimity, that is its meaning. Similarly, this should be applied to the other six perfections as well. Not entering into things that should not be consumed, etc., means that equanimity has been shown for the things that should not be done above, but for the cause of great enlightenment, which is the accumulation of merit and wisdom that must be accomplished, one should enter into all of them and not abandon them. Strength means not being overcome by laziness. Faith means having faith in practicing virtue. Harmony means not being disturbed by demons, etc. Not abandoning diligence means not abandoning the constant practice of diligence. The inexhaustible equanimity has been explained. In order to show the manifest Bodhisattva, the Venerable Son of Sharadvati also said that the five superknowledges of the Bodhisattvas are also inexhaustible, etc. Those who abide in superknowledge are called manifest Bodhisattvas. That inexhaustibility is also because the objects to be known, beings and dharmas, are limitless and inexhaustible, so the divine eye, etc., which know them, are also inexhaustible. Here too, one should look at it as teaching and explanation. What are the five?

Beginning with "action," the manner of teaching is explained up to "knowing the actions of magical powers." Thereafter, the manner of explanation is shown by all the remaining portions. Bodhisattvas who have become manifest are also of six kinds: manifest form, manifest speech, manifest mind, manifest accumulation, manifest equality, and manifest arising. Among these, in order to explain manifest form, the Bodhisattvas spoke of "What is the divine eye?" and so forth. Manifest form and bliss are also to be known in four aspects: surpassing the world and the world beyond, seeing all forms, not being stained by dissimilar impurities, and having pure causes. Among these, from "What is the divine eye of all the gods?" up to "the light of Dharma," it is shown to surpass all the world and the world beyond. From "With that divine eye, the realms of the ten directions" up to "they completely perfect all of those," it is shown to see all forms. From "That eye of theirs, by seeing all forms" up to "they act without attachment to the path," it is shown not to be stained by dissimilar impurities. From "Why is that?" up to "the superknowledges do not decline," it is shown to have pure causes. "Bodhisattvas definitely arise from omniscience" means that by dedicating themselves to attaining the wisdom of omniscience, they obtain such a divine eye. Those who definitely arise from the great vastness say, "The divine eye is most excellent," meaning that the divine eye heard from the practice of the Bodhisattva's conduct, such as the perfections, which is greatly vast, or from the practice of the greatly vast wisdom of the path, is most excellent. "Dharma is supreme" means that the divine eye of worldly beings such as gods and nagas, who are not noble ones, is surpassed by the divine eye of the noble ones, the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. The divine eye of those noble ones also surpasses the divine eye of the Bodhisattvas, and therefore, in order to return from that, it is called "Dharma is supreme."
