Not looking at the place, because it is known that the appearance of a place of conflict is also transformed from one's own thoughts. Looking without faults means not thinking that sentient beings have bad things to do. Following the Dharma that leads to true joy means teaching the six Dharmas of true joy, and for the wise who act equally with Brahma, having loving bodily actions, having loving speech, having loving mental actions, and pouring the gains obtained by Dharma and with Dharma into the alms bowl, and also sharing what has already entered the alms bowl, not being stingy with food, entering into conduct that is in accordance with discipline, entering into conduct that is in accordance with views, that is, following those six Dharmas that are truly joyful, pleasing, regarded as a guru, and without contention. Cherishing Bodhisattvas as the Teacher means that for the Teacher, Shakyamuni Buddha Bhagavan, because he is the guide, the giver of eyes, so like cherishing, Bodhisattvas are also cherished, this is its synonym. Who cherishes all Dharmas as oneself means that just as one cherishes oneself, the twelve parts of scripture are also cherished, this is its synonym. Cherishing the Tathagatas as life means that just as life is the main cause of the body's existence and is precious, the Tathagatas are also cherished, this is its synonym. Cherishing the Lamas as parents means that because the person who is old and has qualities is the Lama, just as parents are the guides of Jambudvipa (ancient name of India), the nurturers and are precious, they are also cherished. Cherishing sentient beings as children means that just as cherishing the only child, not being unhappy because of poverty, abiding in happiness, sentient beings are also not made unhappy, abiding in happiness. Cherishing the Khenpos and Acharyas as Buddhas means that just as the Buddha taught the Four Noble Truths etc. in the world.

After explaining the above, just as one is freed from all places of suffering, the Khenpo and Acharya also, through the method of teaching the Dharma, do so in order to liberate from all suffering. For those who are diligent, cherish them as the most important part of the limbs, the head, because just as the most important part of the limbs is the head, so too should one cherish the Dharma to be accomplished through diligence, such as the Noble Path. For the Paramitas, cherish them as hands and feet, because just as one cannot go anywhere without hands and feet, hands and feet are precious to those who wish to reach the place to be traveled to, similarly, those who wish to go to Nirvana cannot go without the six Paramitas, so cherish them as hands and feet. For those who speak the Dharma, cherish them as all jewels, because just as various jewels such as gold and silver are cherished, so too are those who speak the Dharma cherished because they teach the jewel of the Dharma. For all the Buddha's teachings, cherish them as a wish-fulfilling jewel, because just as a wish-fulfilling jewel fulfills all wishes and is cherished, so too do all the Buddha's teachings, with their powers and fearlessness, fulfill all thoughts. For those who follow and instruct, cherish them as delightful games, because just as various delightful games and amusements are cherished by those who have desires and enjoyments, so too for yogis who have entered into subduing afflictions, for any affliction that has made them lose their autonomy, they freely abandon afflictions through methods such as the contemplation of impurity, therefore, cherish those who follow and instruct in the antidotes to afflictions. For those who are content, cherish them as being without illness, because just as being without illness is cherished, so too should one cherish those who are content with things like alms bowls and Dharma robes, because due to discontent, one generates all kinds of discomfort in body and mind when seeking and protecting. For those who seek the Dharma, cherish them as medicine, because just as medicine cures diseases, so too does seeking the Dharma cure the diseases of afflictions.
