。 Empowerment refers to the reign of kings, and so on. The so-called equanimity towards all sentient beings means that loving-kindness has no limitations of direction or time. It is because it focuses equally on all sentient beings in all ten directions and three times. The so-called non-separation from the different practices of giving means that there is no thought of "giving to this one, not giving to that one" or "this is giving, this is not giving," because all things are given to all sentient beings. The so-called door of all precepts and trainings means that if one has loving-kindness, one will not kill sentient beings or take what is not given, and so on, because it is the cause and condition for the arising of precepts, so it is called the door of all precepts and trainings. The so-called completely protecting all those who break precepts means that those whose precepts are broken are moved from the state of non-virtue and placed in the state of virtue. The so-called showing the power of patience means that even if small sentient beings harm you, you will not harm them in return. Therefore, it is free from all pride, arrogance, and conceit. Among them, pride is the seven types of pride. Arrogance is attachment to enjoyment. Conceit is attachment to appearance and knowledge. Because having loving-kindness does not have such faults, it is called separation. The so-called root is because the cause of those samadhis is loving-kindness. The so-called initiating undistracted diligence and practicing correctly, liberating from all affairs, means that such diligent actions are also accomplished by loving-kindness. Not being dominated by laziness, and not being hindered by cold and heat, etc., as well as demons and heretics, etc., is called initiating undistracted diligence. Accomplishing the six perfections and practicing to accomplish the benefit of all sentient beings is called practicing correctly. Completing all those affairs is called truly liberating. The so-called definitely liberating from all afflictions means that because the mind is focused on samadhi, therefore

It means to abandon everything. "Secret mantra and hearing and holding certainly generate the cause of wisdom of thinking" refers to, after obtaining the profound meaning of Dharma or the key points of meditation, holding it without reversing it is called secret mantra and hearing and holding. After holding it like this, meditating in the mind, and the wisdom that can certainly realize it also arises from loving-kindness, so it is said to generate the cause of wisdom. "Certainty about one's own side and the other side" refers to one's own side being the completely pure Dharma, and the other side being the side of demons and afflictions. Certainty means being proficient in both and distinguishing the differences between the two. After distinguishing like this, the side of demons and afflictions is abandoned, and all the completely pure sides are increased, therefore it is said to remove the side of demons and afflictions, etc. "Thinking of the same cause of intimacy and reverence and entry is called mind" refers to, intimacy and reverence is to perform intimacy and reverence to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, etc. Entry refers to entering the practice of the Dharma in the aspects of the ground and Bodhi, loving-kindness is the fruit arising from purity like lineage, and thinking with the mind is thinking with the same cause. "Guarding behavior" means that with loving-kindness, in all behaviors, guarding against the arising of afflictions, and eliminating unwholesome behaviors. "Adorned with shame and embarrassment" refers to not doing sinful and unwholesome Dharma considering oneself, this is shame. Not doing sinful and unwholesome Dharma considering others, this is embarrassment, having these two Dharmas is called adornment. The fragrant smell is because of having shame and embarrassment, so there is no unreasonableness, sin, and unreasonable Dharma, therefore it is said to remove the bad smell.
